How dare he... How dare he imprint on my Raelynn... So soon after he'd barely earned my trust, he takes my precious baby. I saw red. I was angry. I'd let Jacob go unharmed, because he means so much to my sweet Bella, but him... Him, there was nothing stopping me. and then, I heard a loud no!
Raelynn p.o.v.
No! I thought desperately. I didn't want anyone hurt, and besides, he'd done nothing to deserve to be attacked! Daddy turned to me, and looked confused. No one deserves to be harmed for no reason. I thought. He should know that. I just didn't want anyone injured. Why was that so shocking?
"Your sympathy is impressive." Daddy muttered, turning his head and rocking me gently.
"What sympathy?" grandpa Carlisle asked, looking at Daddy.
"She told me not to hurt anyone in her thoughts." Daddy informed him, smiling at me. "She's perfect." He finished, tickling my hand. I giggled. That just made him smile wider. I smiled back.
So much like Bella... Daddy's voice said. I was confused. His mouth hadn't moved... How did I hear him so loudly, and clear as crystals, too? His eyes widened as he looked at me. Can you hear me, Rae-Rae? His voice asked.
Yea... Is that... Bad? I asked him. He smiled.
"Carlisle. My daughter is a mind-reader."
What is a mind reader? WHAT IS A MIND READER? I shrieked in my thoughts.
A mind reader is someone who knows what others are thinking, even if they don't say it out loud. Daddy explained.
Wait. That's why auntie Alice was acting like you're a completely invasive person! I realized.
"Alice." daddy hissed. Auntie Ali backed away slowly before running.
