Harper woke up attached to Rays side. She rubbed her eyes and got up and walked to her bedroom. Harper stood in front of her closet and contemplated on what to wear. She decided on a pink summer dress, with white sandals, and tied her hair back in pigtails, with ribbons hanging from the top.
Harper grabbed Boo Boo Pew Pew, and walked to the kitchen. Harper stopped, and grabbed a cereal bar. Harper went down to the classroom to find a machine with a blanket covering it, with a small note.
Do Not Touch! Especially you Harper!
-Schwoz
Harper smiled.
"Okay! Then Boo Boo Pew Pew will touch it then!"
Harper said, but was then interrupted when Schwoz walked in.
"Harper! What are you doing! It says don't touch!"
Harper smiled.
"I wasn't touching it! Boo Boo Pew Pew was!"
Schwoz shook his head and guided her away from the machine, which Harper wanted to touch super badly.
"What does that machine do Schwoz?"
Harper asked.
"I whipped it up yesterday. You'll see in class."
Harper grew more and more impatient, then just triple beeped the others. Minutes later, everyone showed up in the classroom. Chapa ran over and gave Harper a hug. She had been worried sick all night about her girlfriend.
"You beeped us?"
Miles asked.
"No! I just needed you slowpokes to get here so I can see Schwoz's machine."
Everyone laughed as they sat down. Ray walked in and looked to the machine.
"I must touch it! I must touch it!"
He said as he walked over. Everyone looked at the machine as Schwoz started to explain.
"This machine can take the DNA of any person, and clone a dead relative, for 24 hours."
Harpers eyes grew large. She NEEDED that machine. Schwoz held up Harpers hair brush.
"I'll use Harpers Dad as an example."
Ray laughed.
"Umm Schwoz? I'm right here!"
He said laughing. Schwoz looked over.
"Her biological father."
Ray stopped laughing and walked over to Harper, placing an arm around her. Schwoz inserted the hair, and pushed a few buttons.
"The only problem is, is that he has to forget one thing. And it can't be his death."
Everyone looked at Harper.
"Dystopian Terrorist Attacks of April, 6, 1966."
The classroom went silent as Ray questioned that date.
"That's when grandpa died."
Ray nodded as he held his daughter closer to him. Schwoz turned the machine on, and it started making sounds, and then a green laser shot out and a figure started building on the floor. Harper closed her eyes, until she felt a familiar touch on her arm. Not Chapa, not Ray, someone much more important.
"Hey princess."
The quiet voice whispered to her. Harper opened her eyes, and was met with brown eyes, and messy brown hair. Harper felt tears fill her eyes.
"Papa?"
The man held his arms out, quickly to receive a crying Harper. Harper tried to remember that he was just a clone. But after all those years. It felt nice to have him hold her in his arms again. To feel the comfort that she had almost completely forgotten, which had been replaced by fear, worry, and sorrow.
"It's okay princess, daddy's here."
Harper cried into his shoulder. He had on his good suit. The navy one, not the black. With his white shirt. He had nice dress shoes on, the black ones, not the the navy ones. Harper couldn't help but cry. He couldn't help but hold his fragile daughter. The man kissed his daughters cheek, which made a smile quickly form. Chapa felt very jealous. She wanted to kiss Harper. She wanted to make her smile. But, she knew deep down, this is what Harper needed. Harper soon stopped crying, and just sat in the older mans embrace. He traced the outline of her face, studying every last feature.
"Look how much you've grown! How old are you Harpy? 8?"
Harper missed the nickname.
"14."
She whispered.
"Well that's a bit older then 8, isn't it Harpy?"
She nodded, the largest smile on her face in years. Mika rolled over to Miles who watched carefully.
"Wow."
She whispered. Miles nodded.
"Hey Harpy? Where are you mother and brothers?"
Harper looked down.
"Their dead."
The man gasped as he held his daughter closer.
"Oh princess. What happened?"
Harper sniffled as she looked back at her father.
"Two dummy's went from fighting on the street, to causing a whole block fire. Mama, Jordon, and Sawyer didn't make it out. Bailey died mid-surgery. I was here the whole time."
The man nodded and felt his daughters hair.
"Who do you live with now?"
He asked.
"Please don't say your Uncle Ray."
He said snickering.
"I live with Uncle Ray. He's my adoptive father."
The man nodded as Ray grew angry. The two never really got along well, when it came to the well being of the children. That's why Ray moved to Swellview. Parker was in the army since he was 18. Then, when Sawyer was born when he was 30, Ray suggested that he quit the army, to spend more time at home. But then Riley was still in the army, so they didn't bother again when it came to Jordon. When Bailey was born, the two men fought over what was best for the poor third son, who was born with a heart condition. Parker almost quit the army, until that bright, sunny day, Bailey made a miraculous recovery, and was released home. Then Harper came along, nobody had really been expecting her -she was what people call an oppsie baby- but they called her a blessing. The whole pregnancy, Ray was scared about the birth of his niece. If you said that Parker was overjoyed, then that was an understatement. The day they found out they were going to have a little sister, caused all three of the young boys to cry, even Bailey, who was only two. But, this time, Ray and Parker only shared their opinions. And Parker stayed in the army until Harper was 5. That bone chilling day that caused a five year old to lock herself in her room.
"I can't believe how big you've grown. You look just like your mother when I first met her."
Harper smiled. The man stood up and looked around.
"Wanna tell me who these people are, HarpyHarper bit her lip.
"That's Chapa, that's Bose, that's Mika, and that's Miles."
They all sat nervous in front of the soldier.
"So do you have a crush on anyone?"
Parker whispered in Harpers ear.
"Dad!"
Harper yelled. The tall man laughed as he held onto his daughters shoulder. Harper was amazed that every single detail about her father was right.
"Okay you guys! I got a big bowl of crime chowder! Let's eat!"
Ray said. Harper, Chapa, and Miles pounded their fists on their desks, while barking like dogs. Bose stuffed his mouth with a donut.
"I updated the crimes to the smart board."
Mika said.
"Then what do I do with these?"
Ray asked.
"Recycle them?"
Mika asked annoyed.
"Throw them out!"
Bose yelled.
"Nice."
Ray said as he tossed the folders in the trash.
"Burn them!"
Chapa and Harper yelled.
"Love it!"
Ray said as he laughed.
"Recycle them. Hilarious."
The scrolled through the screen, but no crimes looked fun, until one caught Harpers eye.
"What about this one. A plane full of baby supplies has been stolen. It's probably the Toddler. We can break some teeth along the way."
Ray checked the crime out and went upstairs. They all blew a bubble and Parker watched his little girl.
"Be safe okay Harp?"
"Okay."
They all teleported to the Swellview airport to fight the Toddler.
————————
Harper ran around punching all the goons in the face. The others handled the Toddler, before he pressed a button.
"Prepare for Girl Danger to go BOOM!"
Harper was stuck in an uncomfortable bouncer. Harper tried to grab her laser, but she couldn't reach.
"Volt a little help here?"
They all fought off the Toddler, as Chapa tried to get Harper out.
"Wait Harper? Fry the straps! I won't let you go!"
Harper laughed.
"That's what Jacob said to Tulip when the Miantic sunk! "
Chapa rolled her eyes.
"Just trust me! Okay?"
"Okay!"
Harper fried the straps, causing her to fall into Chapas arms. Chapa and Harper stared into each other's eyes. Harper leaned over and whispered into Chapas ear.
"Later. I promise."
Chapa turned a light pink, as Harper ran off.
Harper grabbed a stack of cash.
"Technically it's not stealing if it's already stollen."
Harper shoves it in her back pocket, remembering to take it out and put it in her locker. Harper cuffed the Toddler, and brought him to the cop car.
——————-
Harper shoved the cash in her locker. Harper grabbed Chapas hand.
"Harp? What's wrong?"
Harper smiled.
"I told you I have something to finish."
Harper brought Chapa into the kitchen and pushed her against the wall.
"God you're so beautiful."
Harper said, before she started to kiss Chapas neck. Chapa moaned as she threw her head back. Harper snickered at how innocent her girlfriend instantly became. Harper decided to take a little bit of the advantage and held Chapas shoulders against the wall, causing Chapa to have shivers go down her spine.
"H-Harper. Oh god."
Harper smiled as she realized what she had done to Chapa. Harper started to kiss up to Chapas lips and closed her eyes, throwing her head back.
"Yes!"
She said quietly. Chapa grasped harder onto Harpers hips. Harper pulled away, causing Chapa to whine.
"What's wrong Chapa? You want more?"
Chapa nodded her head rapidly. Harper chuckled.
"Come on. Their gonna get suspicious."
Harper grabbed Chapas hand, who was still upset, and whining. When they walked back in, Mika, Miles, and Bose were yelling at Ray.
"Not another sleepover!"
"Well that's not your choice."
Harper and Chapa smiled, but Chapa continued to whine.
"What's wrong with Chapa?"
Mika asked.
"I don't know? What is wrong Chapa?"
Harper asked.
"I... need to talk to Harp."
"Yeah you do."
Harper said quietly, earning a quick shock. They walked to the tube and Chapa stared at Harper.
"I'll get you later!"
She said quietly.
"We'll see about that."
Everyone set up some blankets, and Harper sat close to her father, enjoying all of his attention.
"Let's play never have I ever."
Mika said. Everyone agreed. They all sat around  the small circle of blankets and Ray started.
"Never have I ever... pressed all the buttons on an elevator."
Everyone except Harper put a finger down.
"Elevator buttons have germs.
Harper contemplated her next move.
"Never have I ever... kissed a boy."
Mika put her finger down.
"Wait don't tell me! Was it Bose? Please tell me it was Bose!"
Harper asked.
"I'll go next. Never have I ever kissed a girl."
Mika said. Everyone except Miles and put a finger down.
"Wait? Bose? Who did you kiss?"
Ray asked. Mika turned a bright pink, while signaling a cutting motion at her neck.
"Oh! I kissed Mika four days ago on our second date."
Harper and Chapa started squealing. Bose laughed as Mika tackled him, while yelling. Miles just sat with a small smile on his face.
"Mika come on. It's fine."
Bose said.
"It's not okay Bose."
"Mika it's fine really."
Mika huffed as she sat down with her arms crossed.
"Why don't we take a break."
Harper suggested, grabbing Mikas hand. Harper dragged Mika into the kitchen, and sat her down at the table. Harper rubbed Mikas knuckles.
"Mika. You know, when me and Chapa started dating we wanted to keep it a secret. But, obviously, it never went that way. We were going to find out eventually. This was probably the best way for you guys to have us find out. Trust me Mika, it only gets better from here, take it from me."
Mika smiles a bit.
"Thanks Harp."
"And don't keep the wedding date a secret okay?"
Mika laughed. The girls stood up and walked back to the Mans Nest. Everyone decided to go to sleep. Harper slept in the arms of her father, who held tightly onto his beautiful daughter. Chapa smiled as she saw Harper smile as she slept.
