Chapter Fourty Nine

Gabbie's P.O.V

After Luke stormed out, everyone looked at me. Like, what the hell is wrong with people today? Luke's friends looked not-so-satisfied at how Luke reacted. What did I do now?

Then the voice I never want to hear again reacted.

"Gabbie! You're not going aftet Luke? If not, then I will. Maybe give him a good fuck yeah? Since he's stressed and all." Rachael taunted me, even i'm not looking at her I know she's smirking knowing that it pissed me off.

Calum and Michael walked over me, looking at me seriously and I replied with a confused look.

"Gabbie, please come with us? Just for a second?" Calum pleaded and I sighed nodding.

When we got out Calum finally break the ice.

"What the hell happened to you and Luke?" Calum asked

"He didn't tell you? Anything?" I asked

"No, he barely utter a word. We don't know what you did to him but he's into you so hard." Michael said shaking his head

"What do you mean?" I asked, i'm confused

"You're so naïve oh my gosh!" Michael teased ne and I rolled my eyes at him

"Well if i'm 'naïve' then you're childish!" I teased back

"Woah, relax, i'm just joking." Michael smirked, so that's how it goes huh?

"Well, relax, i'm just joking too." I said smirking back at him

"Michael stop being an asshole please? We're trying to sort this out, not teasing with eachother." Calum groaned

"He's on his period..." Michael whispered and I giggled

They're really fun around, but when did Calum became the more matured one?

"Damn what did you eat today Mikey?" Calum rolled his eyes

"Back to Luke, actually Mikey is right. You're naïve, because Luke l-" Calum was cut off

"What are you guys doing with her?" The familiar deep voice that sent shivers asked behind me

"Uh, I should really go now." I said rushing away from Luke behind me

Before I can get away I hear Luke mutter something I can't make out, but well. Maybe staying away from Luke will be more better. What was Calum going to say? Me? Naïve? No way.

Ashton's P.O.V

Well that was weird? What did Calum and Michael want anyway?

"Soo, what was that all about?" Mikaela asked me

"What?" I asked back

"You held Gabbie a little more longer aye?" She teased me raising her eyebrows at me

"What? It's just a friendly guesture." I flushed

"Ha! Friendly guesture your face!" Mikaela smirked at me

"You like Gabbie don't you?" She asked me

Do I? We're close I guess. And I can't just like her in this moment because the break -up with my ex-girlfriend is still fresh. But who said that I don't like her? Maybe I like her as a friend. Friends it is.

"I like her as a friend." I shrugged and she rolled her eyes at me

"You and I both know it's more than just friends, Ash." She said

"Well, maybe?" I asked, not only her, but myself too.

"I have a plan." Mikaela suggested

"Like what?" I asked her

"Help Gabbie forget about Luke, I know that's what she's up to right now because of the things happened between Luke and Rachael." She said

What the hell? Luke cheated on Gabbie?

"She may hate me for this, but maybe it's for the best? I want her to be happy, she's my bestfriend." She sighed

"I'll try." I said

"You will?" Mikaela looked at me with hope and I nodded

"Hey guys, i'm back." Gabbie said, sitting with us

"Something wrong?" Gabbie asked

Mikaela looked at me and I smiled at her.

"Everything's alright Gabbie." I said and smiled.

It feels wrong but I should give it a try. I want Gabbie happy too, and the goal is to make Gabbie forget about Luke.
