Y/n snuck though the halls of the Jedi temple with her clone squad right behind her
Rex kneeled next to her Rex: there's our target cadet, how shall we proceed?
They were looking at an unsuspecting anakin skywalker from around a corner
Y/n: Jessie, you go around left, Rex and me will sneak around back
The clones gave almost childish laughs as they snuck around making a circle around skywalker before y/n have the signal
Y/n: ATTACK!
All the clones popped up pointing finger guns at a very confused skywalker
Anakin: What the.....? Rex?
He looked to see y/n in her borrowed helmet and couldn't help but smile, I see you've got a new cadet on your hands captain
Rex nods Rex: she's one of a kind, even out of you Jedi, never see someone want to be a clone instead of a Jedi
Y/n beamed as the clone took his helmet back from her
Anakin: well maybe we can show her how good being a Jedi can be
Y/n shook her head still smiling
Y/n: no thank you, I wanna be a clone, the best clone ever!
She said putting her hands on her hips posing adorably
She suddenly felt hands under her arms as she was lifted up into the familiar arms of Mara
Mara: hello my little one, what are you doing here?
Y/n smiles as she sees the familiar helmet of her guardian.....no Mara was more then that....she knew what she wanted Mara to be but didn't know if mara felt the same
Mara ———-
Mara was incredibly happy to finally her little y/n right outside the door after her meeting, seeing y/ns little orange and white face always put a smile on her face
She felt the warmth of the child even through her armor
Y/n: Mara, rex brought me on a mission to find mr skywalker
Mara: did he now?
She gave the clone a look and the clone nods Rex: and you did well cadet, you'd make a fine clone
Mara smiles at this, she knew y/ns vast love for clones and hearing that from one of the most famous clones would make her the happiest thing ever
Y/n practicality squeaks with joy
Mara: well guess what little one, I might get to work with the clone army more often
To her surprise y/n didn't looked excited about that
Y/n:......your leaving me?
Those three words broke maras heart to the core, the voice behind the sentence sounded of someone who had been left behind before, it was much more experienced then it should have been
Mara: of course not, no!
She said hurriedly
Mara: no, it would just be sometimes, and you would come with me and ace and sarrak
Y/n looked hopeful
Y/n: promise you'll never leave me forever?
Mara didn't even have to think
