Y/n was heading to her lesson with master sha koon, she had been instructed by mister windu to call her that even if it made her a little uncomfortable
She entered the room and saw sha was lifting a glass of some liquid with her mind
Sha: good morning y/n, today we will be working on your control of the force around you, how to use it, but most importantly how to control how much you use it
She set down the glass
Sha: reach out with the force, lift the glass
Y/n nods happily as she puts out her hand towards the glass closings we eyes and trying to concentrate on it
After a few seconds she peaked through one eye to see the glass hadn't moved at all, she closed her eyes again and tried to concentrate harder
She heard sha laughing and she peaked again, the glass again hadn't moved, y/n got a little angry that sha was laughing at her so she tried yet again this time she focused with all her might and heard something shatter
When she opened her eyes she saw that the glass wasn't what had shattered, it was every other piece of glass in the room
Y/n: I'm sorry!
Sha gave a knowing chuckle Sha: it's alright little one, it took me a few months before I could lift anything without breaking something, watch this
She grabbed the glass and tossed it up into the air and then moved her hands, the cup floated over one hand while the perfect orb of water floated in her other
Sha: the force isn't something that can be forced, it must be natural, you need to feel and learn the ways the force moves before you can control and focus it, why don't you try again?
And so she did, she tried for an hour and managed to move the cup a little, it wasn't much but it was progress
After that Sha stood Sha: why don't you go get something to eat? Well pick up class in the afternoon
Y/n smiles and left looking for her room but it wasn't long before all the hallways and rooms looked the same, she was lost
She wandered around not wanting to bother anyone for help until she didn't pay attention and bumped right into someone's legs
She looked up and her excitement jump It was the clone she had met yesterday
Rex: hey kid.....your lost arnt ya?
Y/n: how did you know?
Rex: sometimes I still get lost in this place, I know
She smiles and nods
Rex: if I remember correctly your room is this way
He turned back to the person he was talking to
Rex: Sorry general skywalker, would you excuse me for a moment? I need to run this padawan back to her room
The man she had also met yesterday was there, the one that had given her the bad feeling, the feeling wasn't here at the moment, she just felt happy
Skywalker: no problem Rex
He gave a sly look to y/n
Skywalker: make sure your cadet makes it there safe
Rex put his helmet back on Rex: come on kid, this way
She walked after him and grabbed his hand so she didn't get lost as they walked
They walked and he brought her to the room Rex: I'll see you around padawan
He patted the top of her head before she knocked and Mara answered
Mara opened the door to let her run in and chuckled
Mara: how was your Lesson today?
Y/n: it's hard, but miss Sha is nice so I don't wanna disappoint her
Mara: you won't disappoint anyone, now shy don't you eat something, here
She hands her a small bag of snacks Mara: I'm afraid I'll have to be speaking to this Jedi council again, so why don't we watch some Holos before I have to go huh?
Y/n cheers and ran over to wher she had sat and sat in her lap
Mara —————
Mara smiles under her helmet and sat cris cross with y/n in her lap as they watched a holo of sabacc tournament
Y/n didn't know what the game was but just enjoyed snuggling up with Mara

Thorn: miss Mara my name is commander thorn, the council requested you 10 minutes ago, you need to come with me
Mara: fine
She stood reluctantly before following the clones
Mara: I'll be back my little one
She waved to y/n as she walked
Mara turned to the clones Mara: why dose the council want me?
Thorn: I don't know, but they don't sound happy
