CLEO's POV ~

"Honey, can you get the salad? Its in the kitchen table." - Mamu's uncle told Clarence.

"Aye-aye madam!" - kuya replied.

We're eating lunch. And hell yeah. Its Christmas!

I'm sorry if I didn't have anything to live for. I don't feel like I'm in the mood.

What happened ?! Who's waiting?

"Baby? Are you okay ?!" - Mamu asked me to ask if I was in front of her.

"Ah .. Yes .." - He noticed that I was still mute. Shemay!

"You sure ?! You're still dumb and quiet there. Is there something bothering you?" - Mamu's worried question ..

Of course! My life will never ever be the same again!

"Ahm .. Yeah .. I .. I just miss Vana already." - I smiled.

"Oh? She's out of the country again, right?" - asked mamu and grinned.

I just nod and focus on what I eat.

We just ate the quiet again .. Actually, I'm just the quiet one.

"I am so sorry honey, but I need to go." - papu pleads with mamu.

"Do I have a choice? Whether, I like it or not, you're still gonna go to the hospital." - Explicitly contributing to mamu's voice.

"We're so sorry mamu."-Pagsusumamo din ni kuya Clifford kay mamu. Pareho pa silang nakaluhod sa harapan ni mamu na tila mga batang nanghihingi ng candy. Tapos si mamu nakapaikot pa ang mga kamay sa harapan.

Pareho kasi sila ni papu na pinapatawag ngayon sa ospital namin dahil may emergency. It's in their duty to fulfill it. They are doctors. At  hindi nila hawak ang oras nila.

"All right then, be right back ha? Both of you!"-Sa wakas ay pumanatag na si mamu.

Numero unong tampururot ito eh. Kahit pa natatawa-tawa ako sa eksena nila, hindi ko pa rin magawang hindi malungkot. Hays.

"Sure mamu thank you."-Natutuwang sabi ni kuya at tumayo na.

"I love you, honey.."-Tumayo na rin siya at hinalikan pa si mamu sa pisngi.

Umalis na sina kuya at papu, I think naghahanda na sila para magpunta ng ospital.

Huminga muna ng malalim si mamu na parang nakaraos sa matinding desisyon. "Who wants to watch in cinema?"-Masayang tanong ni mamu sa amin..(Kuya Clarence, Cloude and me)

"I want!"-Pagtugon ni kuya Clarence.

Nagtaas naman na ng kamay si Cloude at napatingin si mamu sa akin.

"Of course!"-Sagot ko nalang.

Pagkaakyat ko sa kwarto ay marami akong natanggap na messages mula kay Vana sa Facebook at voice mails sa phone ko sa kwarto.
