MY BOYFRIEND IS A HYBRID

CHAPTER NINETEEN

That night I woke up just before 12am, I got dressed picked up my bag with my few possesions and placed it on my back I then went over and gently shook Ethan awake "Come on buddy time to go" I said quietly.

I helped him to get dressed and put his shoes on then put his bag on his back he placed his small hand in mine and we left our apartment we called home. I met Hanna and Marcus who were still half asleep behind the library not to long after Lucy arrived. "This way" we followed in silence the only sound was our shoes hitti g the pavement I kept a tight hold on Ethans hand so as not to get separated. We stopped at the back part of the camp the area was deserted "Through here" whispered Lucy she lifted up to planks of the fence just enough for us to squeeze through "Good luck" she whispered as we disappeared into the dark.

We had been walking for a few hours I knew we had to rest soon but I wanted to get away from the camp as far as I could "Mama I'm tired and my feet hurt" complained Ethan

"Ok lets rest I think we're far enough away now" Hanna sighed in relief she had been carrying Marcus a fair way her back must be killing her I found and abanded cave "In here" I used my vampire senses to sniff it out it was empty. The others followed me in I stopped half way in "Heres good" I dumped my bag on the ground and took the sleeping bag off unrolling it I placed it on the floor on top of the blanket I had already placed down Hanna did the same "Come on boys try to get some sleep" they snuggled in and with in minutes were fast asleep they were tirder than I thought. While the boys slept me and Hanna talked "So I was wondering You never told me what you are I mean I know your not completly human I noticed that a couple of months ago you hide your scent well I didnt wanna push you but I thought after 4 years of friendship you could maybe tell me...." I had told her I was part vampire ages ago but I could never tell what she was I knew she wasnt a wolf but she was something.

"Im a shapeshifter, a tiger" she said without looking at me

"Wow I didnt know there were other shapeshifters besides the wolves"I said I had told her all about Braxton when I first met her "So is Marcus?"

"Part his father is human but he left way before Marcus was born"

"I think we should get some sleep we got a long day ahead" Hanna agreed and we snuggled down next to our sons I fell asleep with in minutes.

When I woke up the sun was high in the sky and streaming through the cave entrance I checked the time on my watch it was 9am I looked over at the others Hanna and the boys were still asleep I got up quietly and went outside the cave I found a bush close by to pee behind then I walked back into the cave and got dressed I took a swig of water from my bottle then woke everyone up. I helped Ethan to get dressed while Hanna made us some breakfast crackers with vegemite and some water once we had eaten I stood "Right time to get moving".

We had been walking for nearly 3 hrs and I decided it was time to rest I found a nice shady tree to sit under I pulled some food out for lunch tuna and crackers I gave a small tin to Hanna to share with Marcus and I shared with Ethan. I sat back to relax while the boys played nearby "So you think they're out there looking for us?" asked Hanna

"I wouldnt put it past them" I answered sitting forward I started to pack away our supplies I heard rustling in the bushes not far from where we were resting "Ethan, Marcus come here quick" I whispered they rushed to our side

"What is it Aimee?" asked Hanna fear in her voice

"They're here"

"Go I'll hold them off" Hanna said

"No we cant seperate we have to stay together"

"Mama" asked a confused Marcus Hanna knelt down in front of him "Baby you have to go with Aimee and Ethan ok mummy will find you I will find you all now go please" Hanna shifted into her tiger form and let out a deep roar before disappearing into the trees. "No mummy no" said Marcus trying to run after her

"Marcus we have to go come one buddy" with tears running down his face he climbed onto my back I then picked up Ethan and the bags "Hold on tight boys" I said darting off into the trees.

Using my vampire speed I darted in and out of the trees trying to get us as afar away as possible I hoped to god Hanna could find us. I suddenly stopped I had nearly ran us off a cliff but I had stopped to close my foot slipped the boys screamed as we went over I managed to catch a tree root and we slammed against the wall "Hold on" I screamed. Ethan let out a muffled cry as he was squashed inbetween the wall and me "Ethan baby are you ok? I asked

"Yes mummy" came his small voice

"Marcus" I called

"Im ok" came his reply

"Ok buddy I need you to climb up me and back over the cliff hurry now"

"I'm scared" he cried clinging to me so tightly I couldnt breathe properly

"Come one buddy you can do it" I encouraged I felt the weight lift off as he climbed back over the ledge

"Ok Ethan your turn" I said to him " You have to get onto my back" I waz holding on with one arm and it was starting to ache the other hand still clutch my bag I was able to save as we slipped I swung it uo and over the ledge just as the tree root gave way a little Ethan screamed as we slipped I quickly grabbed in with my other hand

"Its time buddy quickly now"

"No, no Im scared, Im scared"

then I heard Marcus's little voice "Ethan come on its easy peasy I'll help you" Ethan gave a nod of his head I helped him swing onto my back and felt him scramble off and up over the ledge his little leg disappered as the root gave way I heard a scream and realized it was me as I plummeted to the ground......

There we have it readers Chapter 19 done now to work on Chapter 20
