CHAPTER FOUR

Over the next couple of days Brax kept his distance I was a bit worried but I knew he would cone to me when he's ready. I did feel strange though it was almost like a part of me was missing. I was walking to lunch when I was pulled into a classroom by a girl round about my age I had no idea who she was "What the hell?" I said hands on my hips

"You the girl dating Brax right?"

"Yeah why ya asking?"

"Because he is mine stay away from him human" she sneered as she pushed me against the wall

"Who are you to tell who I can and cant see I dont have to listen to you"

"I would if I were you"

"And if I dont"

Before I could brace myself she punched me clean across the jaw my head snapped to the left and I crumpled to the floor I could taste blood in my mouth "Thats my answer" she smirked and left me laying on the floor. I got up with a groan man this was gonna bruise I hurried to the bathroom and cleaned my self up then went and met my friends for lunch.

I could feel eyes on me but I ignored the stares as I approached the table Max jumped up "Omg Aimee what happened?" He grabbed my face in his hands turning it left and right I winced in pain "Geez go easy"

"Sorry" he said quickly dropping his hands "That bitch over there started a fight with me but I'll get her back" I said angrily I noticed she was sitting at the same table as Brax who I didnt even know was back she had her hand on his back and was leaning into him she looked over towards my table and gave me a smirk "She did this to you" growled Tahlia slamming her hands down on the table which made me and Brooke jump her fingers had turned to claws and I could see fur sprouting over her skin.

"Control yourself" warned Max

"I'm fine guys really"I said trying to take control of the situation but Tahlia didnt seem to be listening her eyes had taken on a golden colour oh dear! This was not good. "No one hurts my friend" she took off with long strides across the lawn and up to Brax's table where she grabbed the bitch by the hair and ripped her clean off the chair and the fight begun Brax's group were to stunned to help her and they were smart to stay out of it Max's pack weigh out numbered them. The fight didnt last long Tahlia got a few more hits in before two teaches came over and broke it up "You ever touch her again" shouted Tahlia as she was dragged away thats when I noticed Brax watching me I gave him and angry glare then took off.

"Aimee wait" he called out quickly catching up to me he grabbed a hold of my arm to stop me from walking

"What?" I snapped

"She did this to you Tigen?"

Oh so that was the bitches name

"Yes" I answered

"Look I know I havent been around much"

"You dont say" I said sarcastically

"I've been busy and preparing"

"For what?" I asked

"For you to meet my parents"

"You think thats wise I mean I come from a family of hunters or so I'm told"

"You'll be fine" he said.

When I got home I told my mum all about Brax and going to meet his family "Also I was wondering if he can come over Saturday night for tea and meet the family"

"I'll run it by your father but I dont see any problems with him coming over"

"Thanks mum" the I bounded happily up the stairs and into my room.

I got changed and headed back down stairs as I past the kitchen mum called out to me "Aimee can you keep Alex occupied just while I prepare dinner"

"Sure" I answered "Come on Alex lets go outside" I could hear the twins playing ball out the front yard "Swing swing"called Alex running over to it I helped him up and gave it a few pushed he laughed happily as it swung back and forwards "Pst Aimee" I looked around and seen Brax's head looking over the fence "Be right back little man"I said giving the swing another push "Whats up?"I asked

"Just wanted to ask if I can see you tonight?" He said with a grin and waggled his eyebrows

"Sure come around 10ish"

"Ok awsome oh hows ya face?"

"It's fine"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes now go before your seen" I said with a laugh"

"Ok ok I'm going love you" he said

"Love you too" then he disappeared into the forest. I noticed it was awfully quiet I turned around to see the back yard empty and Alex no where in sight shit where was he.... "Hey mum did Alex come inside?"I asked

"No not that I see if why?"

"Ah cause I cant find him"

"What happend you were suppose to be watching him"

"I turned my back for like a minute". Mum and the twins searched the front yard while I looked searched the backyard again suddenly I heard faint crying I followed the sound and found Alex stuck inside the garage the door must of blown shut on him "Mum I found him" I shouted as I pulled a sobbing Alex towards me "Me stuck" he sobbed. Mum and the twins came rushing round the back "Thank goodness" said Mum as she lifted Alex up he buried his head into her chest "Shhh now its ok" she said to him as she carried him inside.

That night after tea I helped mum with the dishes and even put Alex to bed for her "Right im off to bed now can you make sure the twins are in bed by 8.30 no later" said mum waddling out if the kitchen she only had 8 weeks to go so got tired easily now.

I headed up to my room had a shower, I had just got started on my homework when I heard tapping on my window Trixie went nuts jumping up and down barking "Quiet get down" I said shooing her away she jumped on my bed growling quietly I opened the window and Brax climbed in the first thing he did was pull me to him and his lips pressed against mine I wrapped my hands in his hair as he placed his hands under my butt and lifted me up where I wrapped my legs around his waist I let out a moan and he took the opportunity to thrust his tongue into my mouth he started moving over towards the bed when we were interrupted by a knock on my door we sprung apart and Brax darted into my bathroom as I went and opened the door my dad was standing there with a bundle of clothes "Just dropping these off" he said

"Thanks" I replied as I took the clothes of him

"Goodnight" he said walking away

"Night" I then shut my door and locked it. Me and Brax talked quietly as I put my clothes away he told me all about his family and heritage and I told him about mine

"You nervous about Friday night?asked Brax

"A little" I answered

That night I drifted off happily with Braxton's arms wrapped around me.
