CHAPTER TEN

I woke to the sunlight streaming through my window I stretched and took a peek at Brax

Who was still fast asleep I layed there for a few minutes remembering what we did last night. My alarm started blaring through the room I leaned over and hurried to turn it off Brax didnt even stir I slid out of bed and went to the toilet then went down stairs to wake the twins up I went into Brooklyns room first "Time to get up" I said gently shaking her awake "Is the baby here?" She asked rubbing her eyes sleepily

"Not yet most likely when you get home from school" I left her to get ready and went to wake Dexter up "Up and at em Dexter man" all I got in reply was a groan I smiled and walked down the hall way to Alex's room he was right next to mum and Chris's room. I peeked inside he was already awake happily reading one of his books "Morning little man"

"Hewoo drink?" He asked

"Sure"I changed him then took him into the kitchen where I placed him in his high chair and gave him some juice in his sippy cup I was getting breakfast ready when a pair of arms wrapped around my waist "Morning babe whats for breakfast" asked Brax kissing my neck

"Toast or ceral" I said in reply

"Hmmm you look deliciouse" he said snuggling into my neck I laughed ad pushed him away "Dont tempt me" I said grinning. The twins came bounding into the kitchen "Who are you?" Asked Dexter

"Hey manners" I scolded "This is Brax my boyfriend no one tells mum or dad he was here got it"

They nodded thier head and started on breakfast.

Brax stayed to help me get the twins to school and Alex to day care once that was all sorted we headed to school ourselves I couldnt wait to catch up with Max and Tahlia I hadnt seen them all weekend.

I found them sitting at our table I approached it alone Brax had gone to find his friends "Morning guys" I called as I took my seat

"Morning Aimee how are you?"asked Max

"Im good I do have some news to tell you"

"What is it?" Asked Tahlia who was snuggled against Scott. I told them what happened on the weekend and how I found out about me being part vampire I then told them about my vampire father and how I had no idea where to find him or how. My friends sat there in silence for a few minutes not knowing what to say then Tahlia spoke up "Wow what a bombshell so what are you gonna do now about Brax, your father?"

"My father I dont know and Brax Im still seeing him of course just have to keep it a secret can I count on you guys" I asked looking around at the group Max, Brooke, Tahlia and Scott they all nodded thiers heads in acknowledgement "Thanks guys" I smiled

"Anytime" said Max.

The morning flew by I hadnt seen Brax in any of my classes where the hell was he I decided to send him a msg ~where are you?~ I hit send and went towards the cafeteria to get some food on the way there I was yanked into the males toilets by Brax he shut and locked the door behind us "Where the hell have you been" I demanded "I was worried"

"Im sorry the school have changed all my classes I bet thats your fathers doing" he answered

"Damn it and he aint my father" I said angrily

"Hey we will get through this he not gonna keep us apart" Brax reassured me pulling me into a hug

"Its just I miss you its like a constant ache in my chest when we're not together"

"Its cause we're mated and we have the bond we cant be alone for long periods of time other wise the bond breaks we will drift apart I think your parents know this and that is why they are doing all this trying to keep us apart"

I hadnt realized how quick the time went the siren just sounded for third period Brax gave me a quick kiss before leaving he gave two short knocks on the door to tell me the coast was clear I quickly went to the toilet then headed for my next class which was sport.

I didnt feel like playing today so I sat on the bleachers and watched the other students Tahlia came and sat next to me seeing as she couldnt play either "Whats up?" She asked

"My father he has stopped Braxton from seeing me at school had all his classed changed not even allowed around me at break times I dont know what to do anymore its like a constant ache in my chest which only goes away when im around him"

"Thats awful we have to think of something otherwise your bond will disappear"

"I know Brax told me thats why my parents are doing this". The rest of the day went by quickly no-one bothered me not even the teachers and just as well I was in a foul mood. I went and got the twins from school and Alex from daycare when we got home dads car was in the driveway "Yay they're home" shouted the twins barging through the front door I helped Alex out of his pram we found mum in the lounge room feeding the new baby "Mama" shouted Alex running over and jumping onto the couch "Hey little man say hello to your new brother Rhydah"

"Hewoo buba" he cooed gently touching the top of Rhydahs head I sat down next to mum "Would you like a cuddle" she asked

"Sure" I smiled as I took him from her he was so tiny and cute I gave him a kiss before handing him back to mum "Where is dad? I need to speak to him"

"Hes in the study" she answered. I walked down the hallway and into the study I didnt bother knocking "I known what you are doing and it aint gonna work" I said

He looked up from his work and sighed "Aimee we've been through this"

"You cant keep us apart Im old enough to make my own decisions I'll be 17 soon Im not your little girl anymore"

"I know but I cant allow you to be mixed up in this" he said

"Bit late for that isnt it being that my father is a vampire, my best friends are werewolfs and my boyfriend is a Hybrid" I spat

"Enough what I said is final no more arguments I am your father you will do as I say do I make my self clear" what I said next shocked us both "You aint my father Chris" then I stormed out slamming the door behind me.
