MY BOYFRIEND IS A HYBRID

CHAPTER ONE

The dreaded first day of school. I parked my scooter and placed the helmet under the seat

and headed to meet my two best friends Max and Tahlia they were waiting for me on our bench under the big oak tree. "Hey Aimee you finally grace us with your presence" joked Max,he was 16 same age as me and Tahlia I grinned at him and gave him a light punch on his shoulder as I sat down next to him. We started to chat about what we had planned for after school. I was looking around as we spoke and noticed a new guy walking across the car park and boy was he hot I mean drop dead gorgeous hot, he had black hair spiked up at the front, black t-shirt which fit snuggly against his chest showing off all his muscles and to finished it off he wore blue jeans with black nikes. My eyes followed him as he walked up to the front office and disappeared inside. "Are you done?" Asked Tahlia

"Hmmm, what?" I asked

"Done checking that dude out, I've been trying to get you attention for the last 5 minutes"

"Sorry" I replied "But you have to admit he is hot" I said wriggling my eye brows and grinning at her.

She laughed as she stood up and shouldered her back pack just as the bell rang signalling the start of class we said bye Max as we headed off to maths and he went off to social studies. Me and Tahlia took our usual seats at the back of the class, Tahlia was checking something on her phone when the door opened and in sauntered the three bitches Krystal, Lisa and Darcey I caught the end of thier conversation as they sat down not far from us it was about the new guy and how hot he was I rolled my eyes they didnt have a chance with him all conversation stopped as the teacher walked in followed by none other than the new boy!. "Good morning students" said Mrs Vice "I'd like to introduce you to Braxton I'm sure you will make him feel welcome"

We all said good morning and hello and what luck it was to have Braxton sit in the front row three desks away from mine. It was like he knew I was staring at him he turned and looked at me with piercing blue eyes and smiled showing me his perfect white teeth I gave him a shy smile in return before turning back to face the front.

I noticed Krystal glaring at me and could feel Tahlia staring at me no doubt with a curious look on her face but I didnt acknowledge either of them. The rest of the class went by quickly then it was time for my fav class gymnastics Tahlia wasnt in this class so I wouldnt see her or Max till lunch time which was a whole hour away. I groaned as Krystal and her two friends walked in she cornered me in the change rooms "You best stay away from new boy he is mine I dont want you stuffing up my chance to get to know him he wouldnt be interested in someone like you anyways so stay away!"

"Make me I aint doing shit for you"

"You will if ya know whats good for you" she threatened then she was gone pony tail swishing behind her god one day I'm gonna smack that smirk clean off her face!.

Today it was flips we had to run jump on the spring board front flip through the air and land on our feet on the mat easy right it took a lot of practice which we have been doing for the last couple of weeks today we were being judged. I was third in line I ran, jumped and leapt landing perfectly on my feet my class mates clapped and cheered I gave a small bow before I left the mat and sat down to watch how the others went with thier jumps. Finally the siren went I hurried to get changed and rushed off to meet my friends. I was rounding the corner when all of a sudden it was like I hit a brick wall I landed flat in my but I let out a gasp of suprise "I'm so sorry let me help you up" said a males voice I looked up to see Braxton with his hand outstretched students had stopped in the hall way to see what was happening I reached my hand out and he grasped it pulling me swiftly to my feet a tingly feeling shot through my hand and up my arm we stood there niether of us letting go it was like we were the only ones in the hall way finally he seemed to come to his senses and he let go of my hand I felt a sudden cold chill when he let my hand drop when I next looked up Braxton was gone and I was standing alone. I hurried to meet Max and Tahlia I had to tell them what happened "What took so long?" asked Tahlia as I sat down

"Sorry I ran into Braxton" I replied and told them what had happened Max and Tahlia exchanged a knowing glance "What?" I asked

"Nothing" they answered I regarded them curiously but let it go for now.

"So Max we need to plan for your party on Saturday night" he knew about the party but not what we had planned for him he looked between me and Tahlia "Well I guess thats my clue to leave then see ya in music class" we waved goodbye then put our head together to start planning. I was nervous walking in to music class I was performing today my song choice was someone like you by Adele. Once every one was settled I was called to the front and sat on the stool behind the mike the whole class went quiet the lights were dimmed Tahlia gave me and encouraging smile while Max gave me the thumbs up I was about to start when the door opened and a tingly feeling went through my body and in slipped Braxton "Sorry" he mouthed then took his seat the music started and I started to sing Braxton couldnt keep his eyes off me. When I had finished I gave a little bow and hopped off the stage Max and Tahlia came over and gave me a hug Max actually lifted me up and spun me a round the room "let me down ya big boof" I laughed he set me on my feet I felt eyes on me I looked over to see Braxton watching us I swear I seen a look of anger cross his face till he turned away I shrugged my shoulders and turned back to my friends "Ok class settle down" said Mr Jebo he gave us our music sheets to practice on the keyboard for the rest of the lesson.

I said goodbye to my friends and hopped on my scooter doing up the helmet I started the engine and headed for home. Mum and dad werent home yet, my dad was a mechanic and my mum worked at the school where the twins go to my sis Brookelyn and my brother Dexter they were 9 I also had a little brother Alex he was 2 and my mum was pregnant again my phone beeped as a msg came through it was my mum asking if I could pick Alex up from day care. I took an apple out of the fridge grabbed the dogs Sunny a 3yr old yellow lab and Trixie a 5 yr old jack russell. When I got inside the day care Alex came running over to me excitedly "Hewoo" he shouted

"Hey little man ready to go home?" He put his hand in mine and I toom that as a yes we said bye and headed for home. I out the dogs around the back and once inside placed Alex in his play pen with a snack and his bottle and put on his Thomas dvd then started on my homework.

Not long after my dad arrived home he said hello to me and Alex then started on tea.

After helping mum with the dishes and the twins with thier home work I could finally relax I had a quick shower then settled down for the night.
