MY BOYFRIEND IS A HYBRID

CHAPTER TWO

The rest of the week flew by and it was finally the night of the party.

I was over at Tahlia's place getting ready for Max's party his brother had taken him out so we could go over and get things set up the for the party was crazy colour I had sprayed my hair purple while Tahlia sprayed hers pink she wore a pink dress with white heels while I wore blue dress with black heels. Once our make up was done we hopped in Tahlia's car and headed to Max's house. It didnt take long till every one showed up and wow did they go all out there were some crazy colours schemes tonight I was walking into the kitchen when I felt the same tingly sensation i felt at school I looked up to see Braxton walk into the kitchen via the back door he made a beeline towards me "Hi great party" he said

"Hi and thanks" I replied with a smile I kept my eyes lowered I felt his fingers on my chin as he lifted my head so he could look me in the eyes "Dont hide those beautiful eyes" he whispered I shuffled my feet nervously "Here comes the birthday boy" someone shouted I pulled out of his grip and hurried to the front door "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAX" we all shouted he burst out laughing when he seen every ones crazy outfits. A couple of hours in the party was in full swing I had a few to many drinks and decided I needed some fresh air I stepped out into the back yard and there were people everywhere dancing,chatting,kissing I made my way through them and over to the back gate Max's house backed onto the forest I decided to follow the path a little but not go to far in. It was quite dark only a slither of moonlight shone through the trees I was quite some way in but I could still hear the party from where I was, I heard rustling in the bushes and jumped around in fright and came face to face with a pair of yellow eyes and snarling white teeth I let out a scream which only made the creature snarl loudly no way would I make it back to the house in time why did I come out here alone suddenly the creature leapt and I ducked it soared over my head I stood up and started running towards the house I heard heavy footsteps as it followed me it was fast I was never gonna make it I seen someone running towards me "Go Back, Go Back" I screamed but they didnt listen I realized it was Braxton "Duck Aimee" he shouted I did as I was told and he leapt over me and met the creature head on except when I turned around Braxton was no longer there only two wolves facing each other growling at each other then they fought. I hid behind a tree and watch the fight I was fasinated and scared all at the same time I watched as they slashed,bit and kicked at each other I hid my face I couldnt watch anymore. I heard a yelp and took a peek the new wolf had the wolf that was chasing me pinned to the ground its teeth in the other wolfs neck finally it went limp and the wolf on top let it go the second wolf took off with its tail between its legs. The reddish brown wolf turned to face me its eyes looked so familiar I watched as a kinda shimmer rippled through the air around the wolf and in its place stood Braxton!. I let our a gasp and took a step backwards this is not right it cant be this stuff just dosent exsist they're fairy tales..... Braxton cane towards me hands out stretched "Dont" I gasp it felt like I couldnt breathe

"Aimee its ok let me explain" he pleaded

"No its not ok this does not exsist you...you" I couldnt finish my sentence it felt like I was gonna past out I dropped to the ground and curled up into a ball I was gasping for air I started to rock backwards and forwards saying "No no no" over and over I flinched when Braxton pulled me into his lap but I couldnt move I buried my face in his chest it felt right some how being in his lap he wrapped his arms tighter around me and just held me "Aimee slow your breathing"

"I...I cant" I gasp breathlessly

"You can in and out in and out"

I did as he said and my breathing started to return to normal. I heard two sets of footsteps approaching "What the hell man?" Exclaimed Max

"She seen" said Braxton

"What!" Max almost shouted "What the hell happened to secrecy"

I jumped out of Braxtons arms before he could speak "You knew about this the whole time" I asked accusingly

"We couldnt tell you Aimee" answered Tahlia

"I thought you'se were my best friends we tell each other everything and you kept this from me the whole time" I said angrily

"It wasnt our decision" said Max Tahlia went to reach for me but I stepped away "Dont" I spat

"Lets us explain please" she said tears in her eyes

"To late for that now isnt it we have have been best friends since we were 8 and you kept this secret this whole time" I was on the verge of tears no way was I gonna cry in front of them

"I'm sorry I wanted to, we wanted to tell you but we were ordered not too"

"I'm going home" I walked off angrily

"Aimee wait dont do this dont leave like this"

"Max I'm going I'm sorry have a great party".

I could hear Braxton following me "Go away Brax"

"I will once I get you home plus how ya gonna get home Tahlia drove you here" he had a point I slowed down so he could catch up "I'll walk" I said

"Seriously Aimee after what just happened let me take you home please"

"Fine" I said giving in anything to shut him up he lead me to his motor cycle

"Wow nice bike"

"Thanks" he grinned handing me a helmet He hopped on and I got on behind him wrapping my hands around his waist he started the engine and took off down the drive way.

Once we got to my house I hopped off the bike and handed Brax the helmet and thanked him for bringing me home I pulled my keys out of my pocket and headed up the path to the front door I had the door half way open when I felt Braxtons hand in my arm I turned to face him "Did you need something?" I asked I was aware of the little space between us "Just this" he said huskily he leaned in and placed his lips on mine I was taken by surprise but quickly kissed him back I wrapped my arms around his neck he had one hand wrapped in my hair the other pressing into my back. He finally pulled away "I've wanted to do that for a long time"he said "I'll explain everything please dont let this ruin your friendship or the start of us"

" Ok but I need some time I cant do this right now"

"Ok goodnight" he said

"Night" he gave me one last kiss then I watched as he hopped on his bike and drove off into the darkness. I walked into the house with a smile on my face I had a quick shower then collapsed on my bed it didnt take long for me to fall asleep that night I dreamt of wolves....
