CHAPTER TWENTY

Hanna's pov...

Marcus's cries rang in my ears as I took off into the trees I met the men head on. I knocked one man with my paw he landed against a tree and slumped to the ground I swiped my claws across two of the mens chests the fell to the ground blood pooling from there chests this all took less than 10 minutes I turned to face the other men that were yet to approach one look at me and they took off bloody cowards. I shifted back and walked over to the guy slumped on the ground near the tree I stripped his shirt off and placed it over my naked body lucky it was a big shirt it went to just above my knees all three men were alive just unconcious good I didnt like to kill unless I had too taking the shirt back off I tied it around my ankle theb shifted back to my tiger form I ran back to the spot I had left Aimee and the kids. I sniffed the air and caught her scent and took off with my speed it didnt take me long to find them and what I found made my stomach drop I found my son and Ethan leaning over a cliff, Ethan was crying and calling for his mum I creapt over and looked down I felt instantly sick and what I found at the bottom it was Aimee and she wasnt moving I had to do something and fast.

Aimee's pov...

As I slid down the cliff my body was battered by rocks and sticks I hit the bottom hard, rolling a few times the the world went dark. I dont know how long I layed there for my hearing came back first I could hear Ethan calling over and over for me I could hear my baby sobbing for me and there wasnt anything I could do. Slowly I opened my eyes it took a couple of minutes for the world to come into focus I cant believe I was alive I rolled and sat myself up with a groan my whole body ached then I heard Hanna's voice "Aimee, Aimee are you ok? oh my god answer me" came her terrified voice

"Im ok" I shouted back getting unsteadily to my feet

"Im coming down" she called

I sat back down suddenly feeling dizzy. Hanna came down in tiger form with the boys clinging to her back once on the ground they came rushing over Ethan fell into my arms sobbing "Its ok buddy mummys ok".

Hanna checkd me over "I gotta clean that head wound" she ran over and got the bag I had dropped she quickly got changed back into her clothes and hurried back to my side placing the bag down she pulled out a first aid kit and started to clean the blood off "The cuts not to bad" she said Hanna placed a dressing on it and wrapped a bandage around my head to hold it in place

"Can you walk?" she asked

"I think so" I said getting to my feet "We need to find somewhere to rest for the night".

After about half hour of walking we found a small clearing hidden by tress and bushes looks like we'd be sleeping under the stars tonight "Go rest I'll look after the boys" offered Hanna

"Thanks". I spread my blanket on the ground then the sleeping bag I got in and settled down my body hurt like hell from the fall I watched the boys as they played blinking sleepily it wasnt long till I drifted off.

Finally after walking for 3 days we had reached the end of my town I made sure to stay hidden as I surveyed the scene I made my way to Braxton's house I just hopped he still lived there. The others followed close the behind I stopped at the edge of his territory I tried to cross over but I couldnt it was like some invisible barrier as blocking my way

"Whats wrong? asked Hanna quietly

"I cant cross" I answered

"Thats strange" Hanna tried but couldnt either. Suddenly I heard voices "Quick hide" I whispered we ran and his behind some bushes "Not a sound" I said quietly peeking out a mand and women with a child came down the road the man walking back wards as the talked the women was tall and beautiful with long blonde hair, the kids a little girl was a splitting image of her mother they even wore matching dresses. The man he was tall and had dark wavy hair I couldnt see his face as his back was to us I willed him to turn around my heart was beating so fast it felt like it was gonna burst from my chest finally he turned around I let out a gasp clapping my hands over my mouth it was Braxton!! my Braxton.
