they were outside of junhui's house but the taller didn't want to leave the car "this is it" minghao smiled wishing the other didn't have to go

"yeah i guess" junhui pouted tiredly, he opened the door and minghao smiled at him sweetly, as he was leaving the car, he got a better idea

"hey, what if we have a night adventure?" he suggested

minghao looked at him in confusion but a little smile, he didn't know what the other meant but it sounded exciting

"you know, i could just pretend to go inside and sleep but sneak out and we can go somewhere nice, i can be back before my mom even notices i'm not in my room" he said and smirked

minghao hesitated, he wasn't much of a risk-taker but after a few seconds, he nodded "okay, just be quick" he said and giggled while bitting his bottom lip

junhui headed towards the door of his home and opened it, his mom was sitting on the couch watching tv

"hi mom" he said nervously

his mom looked at him weirdly "hi? are you going to sleep now?" she asked and turned to see the tv

"yeah, of course i'll just lay on my bed and yeah you know sleep, that's what i'll do now" he said and flashed her a huge awkward smile

"okay" his mom said simply

he went upstairs and entered his room, he looked out from the window and minghao was sitting patiently in the car

he opened the window and carefully stepped out, he closed it and climbed down the house, meanwhile minghao who was watching him could feel his heart beat 100000 miles per hour, he felt junhui was going to fall, and his knee was already bruised

however, junhui landed on his feet with a pained facial expression, his body was still sore, but he cheered as he approached him and then he entered the car

minghao smiled and then remembered "i have to do the same thing" he frowned and stared into nothing for a few seconds as he was thinking "wait, i have a better idea, i'm not good at lying so i'll just leave a note saying i stayed at soonyoung's again"

junhui nodded and they headed towards minghao's home, he snuck in carefully and in less than five minutes he was already coming back

"mission accomplished" he grinned

"so, where do we go now?" junhui asked awkwardly and chuckled

they sat there while thinking and minghao got an idea "close your eyes and no peaking" he said and giggled

junhui grinned sweetly and closed his eyes "okay okay, mr. mysterious, just don't sell me to the mafia" he said

with his eyes closed, he felt the car start and minghao driving, he stayed quiet and obeyed the no peaking order, he liked surprises

"hey, i said no peaking not fall asleep" minghao giggled

junhui chuckled "it's just so relaxing to hear your soothing voice with my eyes closed" he said

"you find my voice calming? i find your voice attractive, it's not like i ever thought of it but before i could hear you i would've never imagined your voice would be so hot" he confessed

"that's a pretty bottom thing to say" junhui teased and then laughed

"stop it" minghao said playfully and laughed in embarrassment, they chuckled for a few more seconds and then stayed quiet

"minghao" junhui said nervously

"yes?" the younger responded

"could you please sing for me? it was a tough day, you know, i fell down and it hurt like hell and then i got like seriously mad because minhyuk made chan cry so i kind of need it, since i heard you sing that time i just- wow, could you please? that same song mAybe?" he said and cringed at his voice crack

minghao was silent and junhui immediately regretted his request "hey, it's only if you want to of c-"

he was interrupted by the younger's beautiful voice "the song is la vie en rose" he said and then started singing

junhui took a deep breath in anticipation, enjoying every single word minghao sang, something inside him woke up that he only seemed to feel when he was with him

it was like his heart was about to fly away from his chest and bump into minghao to stay with him forever, he realized he was really falling hard for the younger when some simple words made him feel in such a way

he smiled sweetly and continued enjoying the loving moment by getting closer to the other without noticing

minghao finished singing and junhui frowned, he wanted more, however, he would save the other's breathtaking voice for only special moments, that way it would be more significant for both of them

"sorry, i'm not that good at singing" minghao said embarrassedly

"are you kidding me?" that was great, of course you're the only person i have ever heard singing but you're the best singer i know" junhui said and laughed

minghao took the compliment but mentally frowned, it was sad that he was the only person that the other had ever heard singing in his life, he kept driving and they kept talking about how good the presentations were and how great the event was, of course, leaving out the whole minhyuk situation

junhui smiled, he could feel the other's presence and considered that beautiful, he wanted to stay in the moment forever but

"we're here" minghao said
