junhui spent all his weekend analyzing everything that had happened at the party to the point he became obsessed, little did he know, someone had the same thing on his mind

monday was there and he had to go back to school again, he did his morning routine and left to school but he was quiet nearly all day because he couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful voice he had heard

he met soonyoung, jihoon and chan at their usual table during break and noticed minghao wasn't there, as if he had read his mind chan asked "where's minghao?"

soonyoung signed that minghao had told him he wasn't feeling very well so he couldn't join them

"he probably drank too much" chan signed and laughed

"oh and you didn't" soonyoung signed making all of them laugh "in fact you had a bunch of firsts" he wiggled his eyebrows

they all laughed again and chan playfully kicked soonyoung from under the table "don't bother him soonie" jihoon signed playfully so chan could understand him

"thank you" chan signed back

"you should ask him if he can sit down without screeching now" jihoon signed and laughed

chan got embarrassed and just shook his head while laughing "you guys are jerks" he signed

"hey jihoon, can i have a private conversation with you?" junhui signed

the three of them looked at him in confusion, especially soonyoung but he didn't seem jealous, just very confused

"um, i guess" the other signed

they went to the restroom where they could hold a private conversation and junhui told him about the voice he heard, he decided to tell jihoon because soonyoung, minghao and chan would just tease him and this was quite serious for him

jihoon thought hardly who could've been the voice "well, there were a lot of people that night but we can take out the people you're close with because we already know it's not them because you you can't hear them"

junhui agreed "okay so i can cross out, obviously soonyoung, seungkwan, hansol, chan, seungcheol, seokmin, minghao, jeonghan, jisoo, wonwoo and mingyu, but still, there were a lot of people there" he signed

"okay, but, are you sure you heard a voice? you were so drunk you could barely walk" jihoon signed

junhui scratched the back of his neck "i know i was very drunk but i'm 100% sure i heard a voice, i remember it cause it wasn't like anything i had ever heard before" he told jihoon

"i don't know what else we can do junhui, i'm so sorry but hey, maybe it wasn't your destiny to meet them yet, you can wait, right?" he asked

junhui nodded with a sad smile and they both returned to the table, they all started talking again till break was over and they had to return to class but jihoon couldn't stop thinking of the sad look on junhui's face and decided he wasn't going to stop his research there

the next day minghao came back to school but couldn't join them in their break because he had homework to do, so it was just jihoon, soonyoung, chan and him again, but jihoon had to leave break early because seokmin who was his best friend and cousin needed to talk with him

"hey jihoon, i was just wondering if you know about our aunt's party this saturday, my mom told me to tell you that it's a surprise so don't tell her" seokmin said

jihoon nodded and then spoke "yeah don't worry, but please remind me on friday, i don't want to forget, i have a bunch of things on my mind" he said

"me too, but i'll remind you, is something bothering you?" seokmin asked

"well, not really, it's just that i've had my mind busy because junhui told me that he heard a voice while dancing  at the party from last friday and i couldn't help him, there were a lot of people there so it is nearly impossible to know who it was" jihoon said sadly

"oh that's funny, on friday i hanged out with minghao and seungkwan after the party and we actually spent the night at his place, we spent together all weekend and it's weird cause he also mentioned he heard someone while dancing but he wasn't really sure" seokmin said calmly

jihoon's eyes widened "oh my god, do you think that-"

"what?" seokmin asked oblivious of what was going on

"MINGHAO AND JUNHUI COULD'VE HEARD THEMSELVES THAT NIGHT"
