junhui was daydreaming in chemistry when he heard someone giggle, he turned his head quickly to find minghao standing beside his teacher signing about a presentation or something

"okay guys, this is minghao and he will be presenting about the consequences of drugs as an individual project i left him to help his notes" his teacher signed

everyone nodded uninterested and junhui yelled "YEAAH, THAT'S MY SOULMATE"

minghao laughed flustered and proceeded to start presenting, a couple of students turned to see him with teasing expressions when they saw the younger making eye contact with him cutely

rumors that they were soulmates had already spread and everyone thought it was pretty cool, soonhoon, another couple that junhui wasn't close to and them were the only people that were soulmates in school

as minghao was presenting, he had a whipped smile while looking at him, he paid attention to what he was signing and noticed the younger was avoiding his gaze because it was distracting but he didn't care

before junhui could even notice, his soulmate was already leaving the classroom and their classmates too

"it's time for lunch junnie" minghao said

junhui stood up quickly and they walked together towards the cafeteria, chan and soonyoung were already there while signing something

they sat beside them and greeted them "so chan, big day tomorrow" minghao signed

chan visibly tensed up and nodded "yes, i'm actually pretty scared but ready for whatever might happen, hopefully i won't faint this time" he chuckled

they all laughed "you have a weak heart, it's okay" junhui signed

he turned to see the food that was given that day and couldn't believe he had never realized minghao always brought his own lunch

he realized his own lunch was a ham sandwich and frowned at it since he wasn't going to eat meat anymore, gave it to soonyoung and just drank his juice

"you're beautiful junhui, please don't skip meals, we all love you" soonyoung signed worryingly

the taller laughed "it's not that, i didn't want to say it, but i'm not eating meat anymore" he signed

that caught minghao's attention "junhui, i said i don't judge people that eat meat, you don't have to do this" he signed

"i'm not doing this for you, i'm doing this for both of us, just imagine us in the future house with our kids, you want a cruelty free meal and all you can find is a steak in the fridge, i don't want that, plus, what you said really got me thinking and i wasn't even crazy for meat so it's not really a big sacrifice" he signed honestly

minghao seemed to consider what he had signed and just nodded, he also had a tiny blush on his cheeks at the mention of their future kids

"what? minghao's vegan?" chan asked

junhui explained what had happened on the date yesterday and chan understood "woah, that's crazy, i can't believe i didn't notice either, no wonder he always brings his own lunch" he signed

"apparently i'm going to have to start doing that too since the school's cafeteria isn't inclusive for non meat-eaters" junhui chuckled

"welcome to the club" minghao laughed
