the next morning junhui woke up in an excellent mood craving for human contact as if he was 12 again "what is up with me lately?" he asked confusedly

he walked to school happily and participated a lot in class, he felt amazing, at lunch he met his friends at their usual table and they all greeted him happily when they saw he was looking way much better

"hey junhui, are you feeling better?" chan asked

"of course i am, i was just a bit tired yesterday, sorry for not joining you guys without saying anything" he signed

"don't worry, you just needed a bit of alone time and that's okay, minghao was right" soonyoung signed

he made eye contact with minghao and it felt weird for both of them, they were sitting beside each other and it got a bit awkward

soonyoung saw what had happened and raised an eyebrow but decided to ignore it and continued eating

they were talking as usual and joking around when minghao almost dropped this water container, junhui quickly reacted and grabbed the container which minghao caught at the same time, their hands slightly touched making them feel all shy and both of them let the water container fall

"wow" junhui thought "what the hell was that?"

minghao was pretty confused too, chan got startled because of the bottle and then laughed "minghao, you might be the clumsiest person i have ever met" he signed

"let him be, he's just cute" soonyoung giggled "but don't get me wrong, no one is cuter than my jihoonie" he said

all of them rolled their eyes "soonyoung, do you really have to be the corniest ever?" minghao signed

"as long as i live, yes" soonyoung replied making minghao groan playfully and then continue eating

but junhui nearly choked on his food, he had heard someone groan, it was making him feel crazy, his friends asked him if he was okay but he just nodded

"you startled me" minghao signed and then sighed loudly

but he heard it again, he actually heard minghao sigh, was he losing his mind or? he must've been going crazy, in fact, all those things happening were crazy, he stood up and left quickly, leaving his friends worried

he went to the restroom and washed his face "am i going crazy or could it be-?" he asked himself

he had to go back, he couldn't live like that anymore, he had to take the risk

he went back and grabbed minghao's wrist without saying anything, all for of them were confused in so many levels they couldn't even explain

he took minghao to an abandoned classroom, took a deep breath and started "okay, this is going to look crazy but i'm scared too" he carefully signed

he quickly flicked minghao's forehead making him yell in pain and then sign "what was that for?" he pouted

junhui nearly fainted as he heard the other yell and with all the nervousness in the world he carefully said

"minghao, can you hear me?"
