"Hello? Alonzo kunin mo 'tong lasing mong magiging asawa," my eyes couldn't help but flutter open, umiikot parin paningin ko at alam kong mugto parin sa kakaiyak mga mata ko.

I caught a glimpse of Sage talking to someone on his phone, a giggle escaped my lips as well as a sob.

Nababaliw na 'ko.

"Dalian mo! Kailangan ko pang alagaan 'tong si Hera at Shirley—Ha? Wag mo muna ako englishin, kung 'di nagpaalam sayo edi ibig sabihin busy ka—umuwi na sila Vince at Gen inaantay ka nalang dito, dalian mo."

Naramdaman kong may bumuhat sa'kin, it smelled like Sage kaya naman nagpabigat pa ako.

"Stop being childish when you're drunk, you're wearing a dress Hershey," I felt like rolling my eyes,  daig pa neto tatay ko kung mag-bilin, akala mo naman talaga.

"Shey?" I stirred from my soon to be slumber, nang makarinig ako ng isa pang boses.

"Took you long enough." Sage grumpily said while he passed me to another person without being careful—ramdam ko 'yon! muntik pa 'kong bumagsak!—oh gosh, nasusuka ako.

"Mabuti nalang on the way ako sa condo ni Shey--"

"Oo na, ingatan mo kapatid ko at may aalagaan pa 'ko," I felt like chuckling again so I did, ng wala na akong marinig na boses agad kong naramdaman na nasa kotse na 'ko.

"A-Alon--" I slurred mindlessly taking off my strappy heels but failing miserably. I heard Alonzo's defeated sigh, I felt him carefully removing my shoes making me smile weakly.

"Babe, just why," I heard him murmuring slightly at sinimulan na magdrive. I dozed off the whole ride and the next thing I knew nasa kama na ako.

I felt like gagging, I immediately sat up, fluttering my eyes open and upon recognizing the surroundings, I knew that I was in my place,  I rushed to my bathroom to vomit.

I felt someone caressing my back, while I barf all the contents of alcohol and maybe even the lunch I ate earlier, gosh 'di na ako iinom ulit.

"Hershey linisin mo sarili mo, gagawan kita ng kape sa labas, ala-sais na ng umaga," his voice was stern, he didn't waited for my reply at lumabas na agad sa banyo.

I reached for the flush weakly, I sighed while my eyes shut, it's already six in the morning.

Bahagya akong natulala. This wasn't what I expected my life to turn out after I graduate and pass the board exam, this wasn't what I wanted after I earned the title of being an Engineer.

Hindi ganito. Hindi talaga ganito. Napakalayo.

Dahan-dahan akong tumayo, still feeling hazy from vomiting, I sighed upon seeing myself on the mirror, my makeup is still on, iba na nga ang damit ko pero ang lagkit ko pa rin, I looked so rugged.

I decided to take a quick shower. I was letting myself drown with my sober thoughts, and that surely didn't please me. Mas maganda pa siguro kung lasing ako, ine-enjoy ko na 'to habang hindi pa sumasakit ulo ko, panigurado mamaya 'yon ang magiging eksena.

I dried my hair after my shower and decided to put on my bathrobe,  heading out my bathroom,  I saw Alonzo who was sitting down my kitchen area, seriously looking down at his coffee.

"Tigil-tigilan mo na uminom 'a." Matigas niyang sabi, I sat down infront of him quietly while I looked at the coffee he made tiredly.

"Kinailangan mo pa ba talaga mag-dahilan na kailangan ka sa office niyo?" Napapikit ako ng marinig ko gaano kalakas boses niya.
