Chapter 11:
I'm glad that my mum has made me bedridden until Monday, atleast I won't have to see Lucas's face for four days. Or I won't have to lay eyes on our uninvited guest. Knowing how highily aware Lucas can get in these situations. I'm just happy that I am finally safe. Even if it is for a little while. Now that I know that my safety at school aswell as at home is at jeopardy, I don't think I want to go back. I'm guessing this vampire slayer isn't going to give up without a fight, seeing as there is no other vampire slayers in the state. I turn on my phone and see that I have 25 text messages and four miss calls from, yes, you guessed it. Lucas. I look through all the text messages and things go from bad to worse. I check through all the missed calls when I get a voicemail. It's from Lucas, of course.
"Ashley! Please! The vampire slayers are coming! They're gonna take me and come to you, run Ashley!"
Lucas needs me. I'll be there.
