Chapter 6:

I fell asleep... eventually. Well, it didn't take me too long since I was crazy tired. My dreams were messed, since I dream what I feel. It's pretty annoying. And weird. I get dressed into my pink t-shirt, black skinny jeans and my all time favourite converses. I'm going to school. I don't care about my flu. I'm going no matter what. I mean, she grounds me, and just expects me to lay in bed all week with no-one beside me?

Ha. She wishes.

Well, I'll have to sneak by her bedroom to get downstairs. And I need transport to school, since school is two miles away from my own house. I text Lucas:

"Can u come by mine to pick me up?"

"Sure, cya then."

And it looked as if he rushed since when I saw his car drive up his shirt wasn't ironed and his jeans looked trashed. I give him a smile and jump into the car.

"Does your mother know about this?" Lucas asks. Damn! I wanted it to slip by, Lucas has always been my conscience.

"Not exactly..." I say. Ok, you would have said the truth? Well, he would have figured out that she didn't know about my sly plan to sneak out of the house and get to school.

"Ashley." Lucas says in a tone he rarely uses.

Then it all came spurting out. Like the volcano and all the liquid. But instead of liquid it was words. "Lucas! She grounded me last night for a whole week, you would never be aloud to come over, it would be like BOTH of us were grounded. Please Lucas, please just take me to school!" I plead, I beg, and what do I get?

"Fine." Lucas says sternly.

Jackpot!
