Liam's POV
I am so angry on Louis and Niall, there pranks are getting wild. We almost get killed. But I am worried about Zayn. He is just standing there, eyes closed and breathing deeply.
"Zayn you okay?" Harry asked.
"I am good, just focusing on keeping this shield around us" Zayn said.
"Shield?" Louis asked confused just like me.
I see Niall and Harry went near the end of the ice block and extended their hand to feel something. As soon as their hand touches it, we are able to see the shield because it lights up.
"Wow" Niall exclaimed.
Indeed, this is awesome. I think Zayn got the coolest power. But it needs lot of concentration to hold up this wall around us. I know Zayn well, so I don't doubt him, when he do a job he puts his heart and soul in it.
"Right, now how will we go up?" Louis asked.
"Can't you fly us up? Air is your element after all" I asked.
"No I can't, I tried to fly myself using air, didn't succeeded in it" Louis shrugged.
"So we gonna stay here forever?" Niall asked with furrow bows.
"No we won't" Harry simply said.
"What'd mean?" Louis asked.
"See, we are moving up. The lava is moving up so it is carrying us along" Harry explained.
As he mentioned this, I see and observe my surrounding and we are moving up. Very slowly but we are. We all waited silently to move up so we can go to that village.
I feel like we are wasting time. Every moment is important because time moves faster in the real world. But we can't do anything, we are stuck here and don't know how to get out of here.
"Guy" I heard a tired voice "I can't hold it any longer" Zayn said.
He opened his eyes, they were glossy and he looks so tired like he is about to faint. Keeping this shield up drains a hell lot of energy from his body.
"Zayn, drop it. We are almost there. This ice block can hold us up for the rest" Harry said as he gently soothing his back.
As soon as he dropped it, his leg gives up so I hold him. The temperature hit us bad; it is burning and irritating our skin. The ice block is melting very fast rate.
"Payno, we have to get up fast, this is melting, we don't have much ice left" Louis said.
I nodded and hold on the edge of the land and push my body up. The distance is big, so with bit of struggle, i climbed up. I offered my hand to Louis, who takes it to climb up. Now three more are left but time left is really less because the ice block reduced to the size where hardly two people can stand.
"Okay, you pull Zayn and I will pull Niall and Harry up" I said to Louis who agreed.
We got a plan but do we have enough time. Because the ice is melting at faster rate. I just hope everyone is safe and unharmed at the end.
