Long lost twins.

Awkward Introductions

"Welcome everyone, come in and make yourselves comfortable." Narcissa opened the door wider as she moved back to allow everyone room to enter. 

Everyone inside watched Hermione walk in, she kept her eyes low and kept a safe distance while the others followed closely behind her. Draco leaned in closer to Blaise and whispered, "Is it me or did Granger somehow get hotter since we seen her last?"

Blaise looked at him with disgust on his face "Dude that's my sister." he shook his head a little before looking back to the new group in his house. 

Narcissa shut the door and walked over to stand between the two groups of people before turning to the new-comers, "I don't know how well everyone's acquainted so I think we should start with some introductions." she pointed over to the fireplace and smiled, "The handsome blonde over there is my husband Lucius, on the other side of the fireplace is Philip and Rosile Parkinson, in the chair is their daughter Pansy. My son Draco is the other blonde whos standing in front of the loveseat, and beside him is Blaise Zabini and, that's Jean Zabini in front of the other chair." 

Hermione looked at each person as they were introduced, most nodded at her but Lucious and Philip just glared at her. 

"It's a pleasure to meet and see you all again." Hermione tried to be polite, but her voice gave away how nervous she was. "This is Harry, Ron, Ginny, George, Charley, Arthur and Molly" Hermione pointed to everyone as she said their names. 

An awkward silence fell on the room as no one knew what to say, a year ago the two groups were at war fighting against each other. Hermione looked to Narcissa for help and felt relieved when she gave a small nod before speaking again. 

"Lucius, Philip and I will be helping with the spell, who else do we have?"

"Charley, Harry and Molly all wish to help as well. What exactly does this entail?" Hermione was happy to hear her voice had gotten back to normal again. 

Hermione was expecting Narcissa to speak again but was glad to hear Charley's voice instead, 'thank God someone lese finally found their voice' she thought as she listened. "The six of us will create a circle around you, point our wands and speak the incantation together until the memory shows itself. Everyone else will have to stay back a little but they will still see everything too." 

"The spell tends to drain some of your energy so you'll need to lay down on the cot we have set up in the ballroom." Blaise was next to find his voice and Hermione couldn't help but return the small smile he gave her when he finished speaking. 

"Blaise why don't you lead Hermione and everyone who isnt doing the spell there and the six of us will go over everything before we join you." Narcissa spoke in a soft voice. 

Hermione was the first to move but Ron, Ginny, George and Arthur were quick to follow so she wouldn't be left with the Slytherin's that would be heading to the room as well. When Hermione got to Blaise he turned and walked with her out of the room while Draco, Pansy, Rosile and Jean followed behind. 

Walking down the long hallway Hermione couldn't help but notice how empty it was; the walls were white to match the marble floors they walked on but there wasn't a single picture on them. She shivered as she thought about how much she preferred the hall of memories she grew up with.

No one spoke while they walked and when they got to the ballroom everyone broke into the two groups they had when they were in the last room while Hermione and Blaise walked over to the comfortable looking bed in the middle of the empty room. 

Hermione couldn't help but giggle as she got up to it. Blaise noticed and looked at her, "Is something wrong?"

"Oh no! Its just, um, when you guys said cot I pictured an actual cot." She looked from him to the bed again. 

Blaise looked confused, "What do you mean?" 

"Uhh nothing. I was expecting something like what my family used when we went camping. This is an actual bed." she gave him a small smile again to try to lighten the mood.

"What's camping?" Pansy asked from where she stood with her arms crossed. 

Ron, Ginny and George chuckled from their side of the room before Hermione silenced them with a glare. "Its when you go into the woods and stay in a tent." 

Before anyone else could say anything, the rest of the people joined them and walked to the bed where they formed a circle. Blaise smiled at Hermione again before he walked over to join his family. 

Molly stopped beside Hemione and put a hand on her arm, "Alright dear, are you ready?"

"As I'll ever be." Hermione whispered before taking a deep breath and laid down in the middle of the bed.

Molly sat on the edge and took Hermione's hand in her own, "Now this will make you a little tired but it wont hurt one bit. Everyone in the room will see what you see the same way you see it. All you have to do is relax, close your eyes and try to think about the day you were born, focus on trying to remember it and before you know it, you'll see it in your mind like any other memory." Molly smiled and squeezed her hand quickly before getting up and taking her place in the circle. 

Narcissa waited for Molly to take her place in the circle before smiling at the five people waiting to start, "Let's begin."
