when he is nervous to meet your parents
Taehyung was feeling literally sick because of how nervous he was. Today he was going to meet your parents for the first time and boy was he scared. All night he hadn't gotten a blink of sleep, overthinking the situation too much. He was insecure about his English skills and wondered how he was going to properly communicate with your parents. Your parents themselves couldn't really speak any English, so you were going to have to translate everything. You were also quite stressed, knowing that your father could be quite the intimidating man. It was a nerve wrecking situation for both you and Tae but you were most definitely more relaxed than he was.
"Tae, it's going to be fine, I promise" you reassured him, trying to make him feel better even though you knew he was still going to panic anyway.
"Ah, (Y/N) I don't know" he muttered, looking very worried, as he rummaged through the closet. For almost an hour he was stood in front of his wardrobe, trying to pick out a suitable outfit.
"Babe," you said in a soft but yet very serious tone, turning him so that he was facing you, "It's gonna be alright. What's the worst that could happen ?"
Your father might kill him or something, but let's not think about that.
"I am just afraid they won't like me because I won't be able to express myself to them properly because of the language barrier" he explained and you completely understood his worries, it's just that there was nothing to do about it. "I should have learned (your native language). I should have learned it as soon as we became a couple."
"Tae, no" you chuckled, finding his nervousness a little amusing, "Learning a language isn't that easy, it's a long term commitment and you barely have any time for yourself, I would never expect you to take upon such a task. It's fine, you don't need to know (your native language) for my parents to like you."
He seemed to relax a little, but then he heaved a frustrated sigh. You shouldn't be laughing but his worried expression was so funny that you couldn't help it. His face had literally gone plane. Poor guy, you thought. He seemingly really wanted to make a good impression.
Not able to contain yourself, a chuckle escaped your lips which then soon enough erupted into laughter. You were laughing so hard, that you doubled over.
"(Y/N) what the hell" he whined, "This isn't funny, take me seriously" he demanded.
"I am trying to" you managed to say in between your laughter. "It's just your face-" you laughed even harder, tears forming in your eyes.
Your boyfriend looked pissed at first but the longer he watched you laugh the more he felt like laughing too. So in a matter of minutes the both of you were hysterically laughing, crying because of how hard you were laughing. You guys must have looked insane from an outside perspective and to be honest you didn't know whether you were having a total mental breakdown, laughing out of stress instead of amusement - but either way the both of you felt much better.
"Woah" Taehyung breathed, laying down on the bed, wiping the tears from his eyes. "You are crazy, you made me laugh in such a serious state. Your laughter literally is contagious."
"So they say" you bragged, crawling on top of him and sitting on his torso, your thighs on either side of him.
"Are you more relaxed now ?" you asked him.
"Not really, but I guess it will be fine" he said and you smiled satisfied.
"Mission accomplished" you said, and he smiled his signature boxy smile. "Just keep on smiling like this when we are at my parent's and they will fall in love with you."
Taehyung laughed out loud, covering his face in embarrassment.
"Ahhh stop it (Y/N), I am getting shy" he told you and you leaned down to kiss him.
Placing tender kisses all over his face, you lastly pecked his lips.
"So you are sure they will like me ?" he asked you.
"Yes, I am sure" you reassured him, and he seemed to visibly relax.
"Okay" he mumbled. Silence fell between the two of you as you just looked at each other.
"I mean my dad may not like you at first, but he will eventually warm up to you, I am sure" you then added and Taehyung frowned deeply, groaning in frustration.
"Jagiyaaa stop" he whined, "You are supposed to make me feel good about this."
You laughed in amusement, pinching his cute little button nose.
"Tae, I am only preparing you for the worst. My dad can be an intimidating man. He will probably don't look very friendly to you but once he has gotten to know you, he will be nice to you, don't worry" you explained to him, watching his expression grow more anxious.
"Man up, Kim Taehyung" you teased, "You are usually very confident in your charms, use them then."
Suddenly he swiftly flipped the both of you over, so that he was now on top of you. He leaned down, his forehead resting against yours. He had a dangerous look in his eyes and a smug smirk on his lips.
"What ?" you asked, grinning playfully.
Pinning your arms down above your head, he lightly brushed his lips against yours.
"You have been very naughty today, I noticed" he said in a husky voice.
"So what ? Are you going to teach me a lesson now ?" you continued being sassy.
Taehyung grinned, shaking his head at you incredulously.
"You are impossible" he stated, kissing your lips, "What should I do about it ?" he said in a low, seductive tone, brushing his nose against your neck, placing soft kisses along your skin.
"Not to ruin the mood or anything, but if anyone is going to teach somebody a lesson today than it's going to be my dad teaching you a lesson" you then said. It was taking all of your willpower not to burst out into laughter.
"(Y/N) !" he cried out, pulling away and sitting up straight. The concerned expression once again returning to his face. He was scared shitless of your dad. "I can't believe you just said that, I hate you."
His lips formed into a cute pout. Stealing a quick kiss, you got off the bed and moved to the closet.
"Let me pick an outfit for you that my dad won't hate. We don't want you to lose all his respect at first sight now, do we ?" you continued to tease, being the most wonderful girlfriend anyone could ask for.
