"Where are you going? Does your father know?"

I turned around to face the goon with a confused look,

"He knows. It's not your job to ask me where I'm going"

I felt his stare as I continuing to sit on my motorcycle.

Taking a brief pause I turned to them,

"What's both of your names?"

"Ben"

"Marcus"

"Okay" was the last thing I said to them before rushing off to the manor.

Ben and Marcus, huh?

They seem to like getting into people's business.

I still can't get over the fact that they volunteered to work for my father out of no where.

That sounds highly suspicious.

If they turn out to betray my father...

I'll teach them a lesson to not mess with us.

Braking in front of Wayne Manor, I took my helmet off and locked my engine.

KNOCK

KNOCK

The door opened for me to see a familiar butler greeting me,

"Miss (Y/N), welcome"

"Thanks Alf"

I walked in and glanced at him closing the door.

"Master Damian is currently reading a book in his room"

"He reads books?" I question.

"Believe it or not, he has since he was little"

My eyebrows rose,

"I'm impressed"

"Do you want me to put away your suit for you?" He asked politely.

"It's fine. My suit is in the motorcycle"

"I can put it away for you. And then, you won't have to do the work to go back outside to get your costume, just to come back inside and change. Make your life easier"

I mused, his words roaming through my head,

"Okay sure. Thanks"

"Of course, anytime" he stated before leaving outside.

I walked up the stairs and through the hallways.

But every step I took, I could hear Jason and Tim arguing.

"You know what Tim?!"

"I'll say it!"

"Say it then!"

"You're just a fucking useless replacement!"

"And you're just a kid that Bruce took pity on!"

"Hey! What the hell are you both shouting about?!" I yelled, walking in the room.

"He started it" Jason pointed to Tim.

"I started it?! You said you were better than me!" Tim spat back.

"Honestly, you both need to shut the fuck up about who's better. No one is better than anyone. We all live in the same world, same life. Competition is what fucks this planet up. Which is why we are like this. Which is why some of the villains here in Gotham, are thirsty for that"

I didn't even notice my low panting after my whole speech.

My words seemed to get through their heads because then they both stayed quiet.
