Chapter 28

"Me and her are dating"

My jaw widened,

"What?!"

"Hermano, you making progress" I playfully punched Jaime's arm.

"Thanks" he smiled.

We were at the living room with the whole team, except Kori, Dick, and Donna.

"Who's dating who?" I hear Donna's voice just as she walked in.

"Jaime and Traci" I answered.

"Oh cool" she smiled. I knew that she didn't even know who Traci was.

I glanced at Gar who was sitting quietly.

Right, I almost said the same thing to him with Terra...

Then, my attention turned to Damian who was holding Titus in his hands and staring out at the window.

He's not much of a talker with the team.

I walked up to him, wrapping myself behind him while the others talked,

"What's wrong, my king?"

"I'm just... bored" he responded.

"Bored? We just found out that Jaime and Traci are dating"

"It wasn't that hard to tell that they'd end up together" he countered.

I had a poker face on before shaking it off and moving in front of him where he could see my presence.

"We can leave early if you want"

"Is that what you want?"

"Maybe..." I whisper.

I just really wanted to go back and see my father, my friends, the rest of the batboys.

And to at least forget about everything that happened here.

"Then that's what I want too" he whispered back.

"Do we bring him?" I caressed the puppy's head.

"If the team doesn't mind"

I nod and start walking away.

"As you all know," I began speaking.

All their heads turned to me.

"Me and Damian are leaving today. But we're thinking of leaving early"

They all upsettedly awed.

"With the dog?" Raven questioned.

"Yes, with Titus"

She smiled and nodded.

"You both dislike us right?" Gar suddenly spoke up.

"What? No" I raised an eyebrow.

"So then why are you leaving early?"

"I just... want to see my father"

"Wait, you have a father?" Jaime chimed in.

"Um... yes?" I replied, confused that they didn't know.

"Sorry that sounded a bit rude. But, Who?"

Should I tell them? Or should I not?

I started biting my bottom lip, nervously musing.

"No one you know" I faked a smile.

"The Riddler" I hear a voice behind me.

Their faces went pale,
