She could feel the tension the second she walked into through the door with Ken still by her side. Anko was sitting on a sofa with a hand over her shoulder near her neck. A couple of Chunin were standing around her, and the Hokage was standing just a few feet away from her.

Her brown orbs narrowed and she spoke first;

“Who are you, Nakamura?” She demanded; letting Hisayo’s given last name roll off her tongue with a hint of poison laced “Why is someone like Orochimaru after you?”

Hisayo glanced over to the Hokage, who gave her the ‘go ahead’ to explain, “My name is really Ookami Hisayo, and as you had heard back in the forest, he wants me for the blood I carry—my ancestry.”

“Ancestry?”

“So then the stories must be true,” A Chunin whispered to the other that was standing with him behind Anko.

Ken glared at the two older Chunin for being rude, “You’ve got something to say?” he barked, “Then say it to her face.”

“Apparently, things are not as hushed as I had ordered them to be.” The two Chunin coward when the Hokage’s eyes shifted to them. The Hokage then sighed, “Hisayo, I see no point in keeping this quiet for very much longer…It’s become clear to me, after hearing Anko recount what happened and all that she heard, that Orochimaru is the client of Satoru and your clan. He hired them to capture and take you to him.”

Hisayo shifted nervously, “The half-demons born every generation into my old clan…that is his desire.”

Anko’s eyes widened, as did the others in the room who hadn’t the knowledge; Ken included.

Ken stared at his sensei, unsure how to really react, ‘Sure the others and I would always joke around and say “It’s a demon thing” since she told us she was ‘different’, but we didn’t really think…’

“Sensei, are you saying that you really are…?” He couldn’t seem to finish his question; he was too dumbfounded.

Hisayo nodded, “I was born a half-demon.”

“You can’t possibly expect us to believe that.” Anko argued, “Those are all stories—fairytales! There are no such things as demons.”

“Aren’t the chakra beasts spread out among the shinobi nations proof enough—at least of there being supernatural beings out there in the world?” Hisayo calmly countered.

Anko flinched back, holding her tongue—the white haired woman before her was correct. It was said that the chakra beasts came into being just shortly before the Sage of Six Path’s passing. They were distributed to different corners of the world, being passed down from one generation to the next and so forth.

“I don’t know what exactly I am, but my kind is what that man wants…” Hisayo then looked to the Hokage with a slightly mixed expression of anger and sadness, “Hokage-sama, he intends to use my entire clan for his benefit—I can’t allow that to happen.”
