Another Glader Hits You

Thomas- You walk around the Glade with a sigh. You're really bored, and Newt told you to take a break since you didn't get much sleep last night, but you're not tired. "Y/N," a voice calls you. You look around blindly, until your eyes set on Ben who was standing near the Slammer. You realize something was up; his eyes didn't look normal. "Ben?" You say confused, not stepping any closer. "You did it," he says barely above a whisper. You take a few steps back; Ben's suddenly acting very strangely. Before, he used to just smile at you like the other Gladers, and sometimes he'll say a kind hello, but now he's doing this. "What did I do?" You ask, your heart beating rapidly. He doesn't answer, he just starts taking steps closer to you. You go to run, but before you could he runs at you, tackling you to the ground as you scream. He punches you in the face with great force; you nearly lose consciousness. He's suddenly lifted off of you, and you roll onto your side, holding the right side of your face where Ben's fist had connected. You look with your non-injured eye to see what had happened to him, and you see Thomas beating Ben senseless. Newt's suddenly by your side, and you see Alby and Gally pulling Thomas off of Ben. "Are you alright?" Newt asks you, and you nod. "I'LL KILL YOU!" Thomas yells at Ben, "LAY ONE FINGER ON HER AGAIN AND I'LL KILL YOU!"

Newt- "I need some help over here!" Winston shouts, and you jog over to him. "Yeah?" "I need help catching this freakin' hog. Come on," he commands, dragging you into the barn where a pig was running around squealing. "Block the entrance-" he goes to say, but by the time he finished the pig had already ran past you and him and out the door. "YOU LET IT GO!" He screams at you, scaring you. "I-It ran past both of us, you could've caught it too," you explain, backing up away from him. "NO, IT'S YOUR FAULT!" You were terrified that he'd grab one of the knives nearby, but he was blocking the entrance. You didn't want to scream for help, because you knew you would probably make Winston even angrier than he already is. He pulls his hand back, and he smacks you across the face. His power makes you stumble over, and you grab onto a bloody table to keep yourself from hitting the ground. You get blood on your hands and shirt, but that was the least of your worries. Winston steps closer, and he goes to hit you again, and you brace yourself, but nothing ever comes. You look up to see Newt shoving Winston on the ground, and he shouts at him angrily, "YOU BLOODY SLINTHEAD! WHY WOULD YOU LAY A HAND ON HER?! YOU'RE GETTING PUNISHED FOR THIS, WINSTON!" You watch as Alby runs in behind Newt, and he goes over to Winston who was holding his head where he had hit it on a table when Newt shoved him down. Newt then turns his attention to you, "Are you alright?" You nod, "I'm fine." "Let's go get you cleaned up then." He walks next to you protectively as you walk across the Glade, and Gladers instantly start whispering amongst themselves. Chuck runs up to you, "Y/N, WHY ARE YOU BLEEDING SO BAD!? DID WINSTON STAB YOU!?"

Minho- You were officially a Runner, and you hadn't been happier. You could freely run through the Maze by yourself; although at times you missed running with Minho who trained you (especially because at times he would steal kisses). You weaved in and out, cutting vines at each turn so you could run back easily. You had rounded the corner to run into a beat up Ben. You were instantly terrified, because Ben was banished yesterday, and he's still alive and out here with you. "Y/N," he huffs out stepping closer to you. "Help me." You back away knowing he's highly dangerous. You could see the black venom coursing through his veins from the Griever sting. "Leave me alone, Ben," you say confidently, but he doesn't listen. "Y/N," he repeats. "I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!" You shout, turning to run. You didn't realize how fast Ben was until he tackled you to the ground. Your arms and hands scrape the ground as you slide on the ground, and you scream as he smashes your head into the concrete. Your vision darkens, and you know you're about to black out, but you feel him lifting your head back up to smash it again, but he never does. Your head limply falls, and you feel Ben lifted off of you. You lay there, not being able to move as your vision continues to blacken. You feel someone pick you up, and you hear Minho's familiar voice, "I'm so sorry, Y/N." It sounds like he's crying; which you find totally weird. "I should've been here to protect you."

Gally- "Hey, Y/N," Gally says, looking over at you as the two of you work on some structure since you were helping the Builders today. "Yes?" "Do you mind running over to the Bloodhouse to fix something up for Winston?" You nearly say no, because the Bloodhouse makes you sick, but you couldn't say no to Gally. "I can do that," you state. "You'll need a couple boards, some nails, and a hammer, but that should be it." You nod, picking up all the supplies, and you make your way over to the Bloodhouse. Once inside, you find Winston slaughtering a cow. You have to avert your eyes, and hold your breath in order to keep yourself from getting sick. "Um, I'm here to fix something for Gally," you say when he looks up at you. "Right over there is a hole in the wall, and little piglets keep escaping. I need it fixed." You nod, and you walk over to it immediately, getting on your knees and putting a bored over it. You were really into your work, and you weren't paying attention until you heard a loud, "WOULD YOU MOVE!?" You jump up, getting out of the way of Winston who glares at you. "Slinthead," he mutters, pushing past you. "Say that about yourself," you say quietly to yourself, but your breath hitches in your throat when Winston stops and turns around. "I heard that." He walks towards you, his eyes crazy. "I-I-I..." You stutter, backing away, trying not to trip. "You shouldn't of said that," he snaps, picking up one of the spare pieces of wood you had brought over. "I'm sorry," you say, your heart beating rapidly. He suddenly swings the board, and it connects with your stomach making you fall backwards, clutching your stomach. You knew he'd definitely bruised your stomach; badly. "WHAT THE SHUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU," you hear Gally shout from behind you, and you watch as he slams Winston to the ground. "YOU'RE PAYING FOR THAT, YOU SLINTHEAD!"

Alby- You laugh as you walk with Newt over near the entrance to the Maze, but you couldn't help but feel nervous being so close to the Maze. You'd been in there once before, and you never want to go back. "Before I forget, I need to talk to Gally and Zart. I'll talk to you later, Y/N," Newt waves, leaving you alone. You wave back, and you soon decide to continue to walk around and enjoy the fresh, warm air. You hear something running from the Maze, but you ignore it thinking it's just one of the Runners. You hear Alby yelling something at you, and before you can comprehend what he's saying, you're on the ground, and you realize Ben is back from the Maze, and he's supposed to be banished. You scream when he hits you powerfully, and the pain makes you squeeze your eyes shut. You're relieved when he's off of you, and you sit up slowly to see Alby dragging an unconscious Ben back out to the Maze.
