You sit on the couch with Ashton's arm around your shoulders and you glance nervously at Calum. He had already gotten rid of Luke and Michael, but his plan was to set the mood before leaving you two alone. "There's a glare on the TV," he mutters, getting to his feet, "I'm just gonna dim the lights." He does so and looks around happily. "Romantic!" He says with a satisfied nod. He sits next to you, stretching out to take up the majority of the couch. "Could you scoot over?" He asks, although he has all the room he needs. You oblige, inching closer to Ashton. Ashton smiles down at you, pulling you even closer. "Hey," he whispers, grinning. "Hey," you breathe, your gaze moving from his eyes to his lips. You subconsciously lean closer and Ashton does the same. You pause, your lips less than an inch from his own. He closes the gap, meshing your lips together. You kiss back, smiling as his hands move to cup your face. You reach up, tangling your hands in his hair as the kiss deepens. Ashton pulls you onto his lap and you continue to kiss until you hear a small cough. Pulling away begrudgingly, you're surprised to see Calum still on the couch. "You were supposed to wait until I left," he mutters. "Right," you agree, blushing. "You can leave now," Ashton invites. "Not even a 'thanks for setting the mood, Cal!' I see," Calum sniffs as he makes his way to the door. "Well, have fun then," he adds with a wink.

"He's back!" Ashton whispers, rushing from the room and through the bus to meet Luke at the door. "How was your date?" Ashton asks Luke, leaning against the door frame casually. "How'd you know I was on a date?" Luke inquires. "Y/N mentioned it," Ashton replies with a shrug. "What'd she say?" Luke asks, biting his lip and looking at Ashton, hoping to hear that you had been jealous, or even cared at all. "That you were on a date," Ashton answers simply. "Oh," Luke says, nodding. "So how was it?" Ashton asks again. "I dunno," Luke sighs with a shrug, "She was just kinda, ya know, throwing herself at me. It was awkward." "You know who I realized is so funny?" Ashton asks casually. "Y/N!" He answers, not waiting for Luke's guess. "Yeah," Luke agrees. "She's nice too," Ashton points out, "And wow she's hot." "I hadn't noticed," Luke mutters, blushing. "I was thinking of asking her out," Ashton says casually, "Unless, of course, you like her." "Me? No," Luke insists, "But maybe you shouldn't ask her out. I mean, she's not really your type." "Are you kidding?!" Ashton asks incredulously, "She's practically perfect!" "But, but she's my best friend!" Luke argues. "Well, if you like her then she's all yours," Ashton replies, "Just tell me!" "I - well, she'd never like me like that," Luke mumbles. "I think she would," Ashton disagrees, "I see the way she looks at you." "Really?" Luke asks hopefully. Ashton nods, grinning. "Then maybe I will ask her out," Luke says thoughtfully.

You continue to fake sleep as Michael scoops you up, carrying you to his bed. He sets you down carefully and pulls the covers over you. "Michael," you mumble sleepily. "Yeah?" He asks quietly. You reach out and pat his cheek, making him laugh. "Thanks," you sigh. "For what?" He asks, confused. "I dunno," you shrug, "Everything." "Well then, you're welcome for everything," Michael says with a smile. He grabs a pillow, placing it on the floor. "Michael," you say, "Don't sleep on the floor." "Ashton's already on the couch," Michael explains. You pat the spot next to you, pulling down the covers for Michael to get in. He obliges. joining you in his bed. "Y/N," Michael says, fighting a yawn. "Michael," you say back. "Y/N I-I want you to know something," Michael says, biting his lip. "Let's hear it," you invite. "I-I want you to know how I feel about you," he explains. "Oh, okay," you say with a hesitant nod. "I really like you, Y/N," Michael sighs, "I don't know how you feel about me but-" "Luke thinks I like you," you point out, trying not to laugh. "How - Where -?" Michael begins in confusion. "I was sort of awake during that conversation," you confess. "You're such a brat," Michael laughs, shaking his head. "But Michael," you say seriously, "Luke was right." Before Michael has a chance to reply, you scoot closer, kissing him gently.

An unbearably uncomfortable silence falls as you and Calum sit on the carpet, refusing to look at each other. "Don't mind Michael," Calum mutters finally, "He never knows what he's talking about." "Right," you agree, your mouth suddenly feeling dry. "He just likes to make things awkward," Calum explains. "Yeah," you reply weakly. "It's not like you and I would ever, well, we don't, uh, never mind," Calum mutters. "You and me?" You force a laugh, "I've never even thought of that." "Me either," Calum adds, laughing. Silence falls again and you glance at Calum as he quickly looks away from you. "I wonder where Michael even got that idea," Calum says. "Who knows," you reply with a shrug. "Could you imagine if we did date, though?" Calum asks with a laugh. "Yeah," you reply quietly, biting your lip. "Wait what?" Calum asks, confused. "Yeah," you repeat, "I can imagine it. I-I do imagine it." "Y/N I-" "I know," you interrupt, "I'm sorry. I didn't wanna say anything. I didn't wanna make things awkward but I-I just had to say something." "Y/N," Calum laughs, "I've had a crush on you for three years." "Y-You have?" You ask, shocked. He nods, smiling wide, and you can't help the smile spreading across your own face. "Oh," you giggle. Calum laughs, moving toward you. "Are you gonna kiss me or what?" He asks, making you laugh as you lean in, connecting your lips to his.
