All The Satanists Backed Up And Ran Away

dolly had stayed with me for two months

a happy, very satisfying time indeed

she even came and worked with me

for a brief time .. a few days a week

we got along perfectly .. most of the time

if there existed no contract

no state warrant for my arrest

she and i'd agreed she'd stay

alas .. it just wasn't to be

now i'd to deal with alline

fast forward .. alline bought tickets

to go see Kiss in houston .. rock band

somehow or other she acted real odd

maybe because steve lives in houston

I ended up leaving her with my brother, J.D.

she cried .. partied with my brother and friends

then frenchman and I quickly took off

walking around the summit's coliseum

little did we know we'd run head long

smack dab in the middle of satanists

it was so surreal .. they surrounded us

in the darkness while Kiss was playing

satanists started crowding in on us

there were a whole bunch of them

too many to even try to count

I and frenchman thought we'd die there

be killed in the spacious, dark auditorium

no one would know until the concert was over

crazy thing was i'd a ring with a tiny cross on it

it was in my pocket .. I put it on my pinkie finger

frenchman and I stood braced back to back

I showed him my ring with the tiny cross

we both had been holding our fists up

whilst many satanists closed in on us

I swung slowly around in a tight circle

flashing the tiny cross in their crazy eyes

I can only say God saved us that night

all the satanists backed up and ran away
