Wondering WTF Was Going On

alline is beautiful as ever

her fine, heart shaped face

pretty, enticing lips to match

one of her former schoolmates

long ago nicknamed her moviestar

one of her few girlfriends, betty

dropped by my house one day

related alline has a boyfriend

by the name of steve .. he lives in houston

it's exactly where alline goes on weekends

then betty tried hard to sleep with me

no chance, i'd dolly heavy on my mind

next day kilo arrived on a greyhound bus

I asked if he'd take my shiny red sports car

drive to Louisiana .. bring dolly back to texas

he said yes, I gave him my keys .. cash .. some pot

next morning alline came by .. drove me to work

related she'd pick me up at five o'clock sharp

all day I pondered how thing's will work out

that evening .. we made sweet love for hours

she'd a midnight curfew .. I kissed her goodnight

kilo made it back in less than twenty four hours

seven hundred and twenty miles roundtrip was fast

I woke in dolly's loving arms .. warm, happy as can be

four thirty came early .. I knew alline would be by soon

i'd no alarm clock on hand

she'd been waking me

every morning at five o'clock

her workshift began soon .. at six

five o'clock came early for me

I was lying there half awake

pretending to be asleep

dolly was out like a light

like clockwork .. alline arrived

same pattern .. took off her shoes

undressed .. started getting in bed with me

pulled back the comforter .. saw blonde hair

dolly slowly sat up .. groggy from the trip

wondering wtf was going on
