Flashback .. Fast Forward

Everyone In Court Knew I'd Been Framed

fast forward .. the unknown driver

i'd hitched a ride with

produced an ounce bag of pot

handed it over to the cop

next thing I knew .. I was in jail

on a trumped up false arrest

unknown driver slipped

told the judge the pot was his

yet he recorded a false statement

testified he was selling the pot to me

I interjected .. I said your honor

even you know an ounce of pot 

sells for fifty dollars on the street

i'd only a single dollar to my name

i'm innocent .. i'm being framed

police .. court personnel

even the wise old judge

all attempted to stifle 

their impulsive laughter

at the cop who'd lied

my neighbor cop's face

quickly turned beet red

he'd to leave the courtroom

in complete and total disgrace

no one was surprised he was fired

still .. the unknown driver's

damning taped statement

brought a possession charge

on my head .. I had nothing

no pot .. no money to buy it with

I was undeniably railroaded

forced to go to drug rehab

unjustly .. sign some papers

when I was totally innocent

everyone in court knew i'd been framed
