A Week Later .. Slob Randy Was Tripping On Mushroom Juice

wasn't welcome to visit Ka-Ka for awhile

I reckon that was pretty understandable .. considering

apologized to her mother .. brother .. sister .. like that would right things

Ka-Ka's oldest brother was cool about it yet showed anger for their mother

their sister of course didn't let up .. later she smiled .. winked at me slyly

you know it was like Ka-Ka was some sort of Princess

being the baby of the family and all .. all I could think of was .. wow

exited .. started home and slob Randy came out .. said all will blow over

teens with no job prospects .. slob Randy had conned me into doing something

going to the RC Cola plant .. climbing the fence to steal cases of empties

empty returnable soft drink bottles and wooden drink cases

must've been about a hundred dollars worth of them

we loaded down my mom's Chrysler New Yorker

he'd planned for us to go out to out of the way country stores

return the stolen merchandise for cash without getting caught

a pipe dream fantasy .. for I kept telling slob Randy to c'mon

we had plenty enough .. he kept going back to steal more

well just so happened one of the local police drove by

saw what was happening .. turned on his red and blue lights

to jail we went at seventeen years of age .. first offense .. theft

we were bailed out of jail with the promise we'd go straight

never ever steal again .. the judge was a bit easy on us

a couple of hundred dollar fines we'd to pay

we cut grass to no end .. all summer long, in fact

Ka-Ka blamed herself .. she knew I fell in with slob Randy

so I could purchase Lynnerd Skynnerd tickets .. to take her

I assured her it was all my fault yet slob Randy's family

already knew he was on a tear .. I said no one told me

until it was way too late .. still I took my own blame

that was kind of the last straw .. added to Ka-Ka and me getting caught

their mom located some guy .. arranged a relationship for Ka-Ka

I was out of the door .. into the lonely cold

it turned out ok .. especially since I still had eleven girlfriends

somehow slob Randy and I remained friends .. Ka-Ka and their family too

a week later .. slob Randy was tripping on mushroom juice
