When I came too, everyone was around my bed talking amongst themselves. Mary was the first to notice me awake. She hugged me tightly
"You're awake!!" She smiled happily. I was a bit shocked. When was the last time Mary hugged me.
"Mary,What are you doing here?!" I asked as I pulled back holding her shoulders. From the corner of my eye I could see Inferno try to leave. I whipped my head in his direction.
"Inferno- where do you think your going.." I growled as I tried to get up but a sudden weight on my legs scared me. I looked down and noticed Jack asleep on my legs. What the-how did I not notice him....
"He's been like that since you passed out~" Tooth whispered in my ear. I glared at her a bit. I couldn't stay mad at a face like hers though- she just had such beautiful pink eyes. North bursted in
"Good! you awake now!" He spoke loudly. This woke Jack up as he jolted up and clung onto me. I cleared my throat
"Frost bite- get off me" I spoke in a monotone voice. He flinched a bit and flew back a bit
"Sorry sorry" He replied embarrassed. My attention moved back to North. Tooth smiled a bit
"We did a bit of research while you-."
"And Jack" bunny added. Tooth hid her laughter
"And Jack- were asleep , we found that you'll have to do some pretty intense learning in order to control your mind and powers" She explained. I nodded understanding, although I wasn't in control of my own body I knew what was happening. It was an extremely weird state to be in though.
"So- when were you going to tell us you had powers?" Ami chimes in. I laughed nervously
"When the guardians let me..."
The two girls glared at the guardians the atmosphere growing tense. Jack looked at me before whistling and clapping his hands.
"Sooooo- Who's gonna teach her to use her powers-?" He asked finally breaking the silence. North smiled
"Along with the research we found something interesting!" He explained. I raised an eyebrow. He was about to speak but Mary interrupted
"Your dads got moon heebie jeebi" She spoke
"Well, He is the moon but he can't even come down here" I spoke. She stared at me with a blank expression.
"I mean your papa, dad- Wait your dads the MOON?!?"
I didn't reply.

"WAIT PAPA IS-."
"A kanji- yes I was getting to that!" North huffed a bit glaring at Mary
"Stealing thunder, not cool" He pointed a finger at her. She rolled her eyes
"I was stuck in a chariot with crazy shadows- think I earned it" She defended. So many thoughts ran through my head. How did I not know this-?. What did this mean-?..
A cold hand jolted me out of my thoughts. I looked down at my lap where Jacks hand gently rested on mine.
"Hey, breathe" His calming voice caught me off guard. I smirked a bit sighing. At least he was the steady piece of my life. A yeti ran into the room screaming.
The globe.
I ran - I don't know when I got up.
I just ran.
I looked up at the globe
The lights where flickering out.
"Fear..." I whispered. A sudden chill ran down my spine. This couldn't be real. No way-
"Crikey- those are going out already..." Bunny moved up next to me. They all looked at me. Oh right- brains of the group.
"Let's- let's see what papa knows. From there I'll see what I can do- for now we need a way to boost moral..." I placed a finger on my chin. Mary walked up to us and looked around.
"What about hope..?" She said nudging at Bunny.
"Mary can you stop being thirsty for- Wait no that's a great idea" I said shocked. Mary huffed
"See I can be smart too.". I gave an apologetic smile and nudged her shoulder
"Sorry sorry- but bunny, can you shed some hope..?" I asked, In a hopeful voice.
"Well- I have limited quantities- but let me see what I can do... okay?" He smiled a bit. I nodded
"North, Tooth, go with him. Jack, Inferno and Sandy come with me.we'll take the girls home" I said making up a plan. Inferno smirked a bit
"Smartass"
"Flameboy shut up" I smirked back.
Soon enough we all headed our separate ways.
"Buckle up-" Bunny said
"Huh- not again!" North said as he dropped into a hole".
I and the rest piled into Infernos chariot as we headed to Burgess. When we landed I noticed the parks just a tad quieter.
"Man... I don't think I've ever seen this place this quiet..." Mary spoke looking over the edge. Ami and I nodded. Inferno looked over his shoulder
"Is it usually loud?" He asked. We all nodded. it shocked me, in such a short time most kids had stopped going outside. What would the world be like if children feared being outside? I know I couldn't even open the blinds when I was in that state of fear. When we landed Ami and Mary followed us to my place. I knocked on the door. Papa sleepily opened the door.
"Love?- What are you doing here" He asked. I cut straight to the chase
"Papa, are you a Kanji descendant" .
His eyes widened as if he wasn't expecting that as my question.
"How do- how do you know who the Kanji are...." his face wrinkled with confused and tension. I looked at my friends before looking up at him.
"Papa I know who my biological dad is"
"Yes and...?"
"He's the moon"
