To My Love // Jensoo (Complete)

Chapter 25

They were supposed to be excited and happy but none of them showed any of that. The atmosphere was not as tensed but definitely quiet. Nobody dared to say anything. The one time there was noise was when Rosé called Jimin.

"Jimin, it's me, Chae Young"

"Yeah I'm fine"

"You don't have to apologise, you did nothing wrong"

"Yes I had fun last night, thank you for carrying me back"

"Sure, you choose the date and let me know then"

"Okay goodbye"

After Rosé hung up the phone, everything went silent again.

Finally it was Lisa who couldn't hold it anymore. As soon as they step foot inside the house, she said:

"I can't take this anymore, what exactly is going on?"

She was a little loud and it startled them, Lisa isn't usually so loud and stern.

"Let's talk at the table" said Jennie

They move to the table, Jisoo poured water for all of them. Jennie first asked:

"Chaeng, do you remember what happened last night?"

Rosé frowned and then said:

"Me and Jimin were having a nice time, he then suggested to go for a walk by the beach, then there was this guy who sold beers and so I had some, that's all I could remember"

"How much do you mean by some?" asked Jisoo

"Uhhhh I don't know, a dozen?"

"What? A dozen! Chaeng you can't drink!" exclaimed Jennie

"I know I know, it wouldn't happen again" said Rosé

"Why did you drink so much" Lisa asked, she was quiet the whole time and so it surprised them when she asked

Rosé started to meddle with her fingers and her eyes looked down, after a moment of silence, she softly said:

"Because I wasn't happy"

Lisa paused and continued asking:

"Why weren't you happy?"

None of them answered, Jennie and Jisoo signalled Lisa to stop asking but that made Lisa mad and triggered her, she raised her voice and said:

"Don't signal me to stop! You guys already know what happened right, why am I always left out, I mean am I not close enough to know what happened?"

Lisa's sudden burst of anger shocked them, never had they ever seen Lisa get angry, Lisa continued:

"Look, if I'm the one left out again, at least let me know that I'm not that close yet okay? Don't make me look like a fool"

"Lisa it's not like that" said Jisoo, she tried to calm Lisa down but

Lisa continued shouting:

"Well that's the feeling I've been getting from y'all, do you think I haven't noticed things got weird nowadays, I know you've been really sad these days but I thought you'd talk to me about it and so I waited and waited, but no you never did, instead you just point your fingers at me, scolding me, what's wrong with all of these?"

There was already tears flowing out of Rosé's eyes, Jennie sternly raised her voice and sharply said:

"Lisa stop now!"

"Stop asking me to stop, if we're not settling this today, things will never be the same..."

Rosé cut Lisa's words in the middle and shouted out:

"That's it! You want to know right? I'll tell you then. Lisa, I like you, wait, no, I love you, since the day we met, I've uncontrollably fell in love with you, but it makes me really guilty, I know this love would only make you uncomfortable so I tried to hide my feelings away, but Lisa have you ever loved someone? It's not as sweet as it sounds especially when the person doesn't loves you back, I tried to forget about you Lisa, I really did try, Lisa it's hurting to much to love you, my mother spent 9 months and risked her life to make me a heart, I'm not asking you to take care of it but could you not break it into pieces? But it's not your fault right? After all, you did not ask me to fall in love with you, stupid me"

Rosé shouted out all once together and finished with a faint smile while tears are still streaming out from her eyes

Jisoo hugged Rosé, Lisa stunned and stammered out:

"Wait, what?"

Rosé struggled out of Jisoo's embrace, she closed her eyes and said:

"You just had to tear open my wounds huh?"

She then sarcastically laughed and repeated:

"But it's still not your fault, it's all because of my stupid heart"

Then Rosé slowly walked back to her room and closed her doors, nobody stopped her.

Lisa took a deep breathe and buried her face into her hands, after a short moment, she mumbled:

"Oh god, what have I done"

Jennie said:

"Lisa, it's not that bad"

"It is that bad, I broke my best friend's heart, I'm a jerk" Lisa said

"It's not your fault" said Jisoo

Lisa did not answered, she shook her head and went back to her room.

Jennie sighed and looked at Jisoo, she smiled and said:

"Thank god we don't have this kind of problem"

Jisoo's heart tensed up a bit, she couldn't help but suggestively asked:

"What if we do?"

Jennie chuckled and said:

"That's impossible, there's no way I'm falling for you, and you're not falling for me too, are you?"

Jisoo's heart is as if sliced by a sharp knife, but she too chuckled and asked:

"Wanna go get some groceries?"
