To My Love // Jensoo (Complete)

Chapter 20

It's time for Jennie's present, Jisoo's a little worried as she's afraid that Jennie might not like her present. She placed the bag of pendants behind her back and said:

"Jennieya I have to tell you, I did not know what to buy for you, nothing there suits you actually, so I'm gonna ask you a question"

"Okay" Jennie replied, she's a little confused

"Would you prefer happiness, health, wealth, love, luck, prosperity, beauty or success?" Jisoo asked

Still very confused, Jennie answered:

"It's really hard to choose, do I have only one choices?"

"Preferably yes" Jisoo replied

Jennie started to think about her choices, she has a really cute habit of knitting her eyebrows together when she thinks, Jisoo find that cute. After awhile, Jennie said:

"Well I guess I'll pick happiness then"

"Okay" said Jisoo

She the rummaged through her bag and took out the happiness pendant and passed it to Jennie. Jennie looked at the pendant and said:

"It's so pretty Unnie, I like it!"

"Glad you do" said Jisoo

Jennie suddenly remembered the questions Jisoo asked before and then she asked:

"Did you buy all the representative pendants of all the things you asked me before?"

"Well yes" Jisoo replied

Jennie laughed, she then asked:

"Why Unnie, that's such a waste of money"

"I wanted to give you what you needed the most but I do not know what do you need the most, so I bought you all the things that I wished you'd have and let you choose the one that you really wanted" Jisoo told Jennie her logic

Jennie was really touched when she heard Jisoo's explanation, she asked Jisoo:

"Can I see all the pendants?"

Jisoo took out the bag from her bag and pour out all the pendants. Jennie look through all the pendants closely and asked:

"It's all really pretty, can I have all please?"

"Yes if you want" Jisoo replied while nodding her head.

Lisa then started to complain:

"It's not fair, Jennie has so many presents!"

Jisoo replied back:

"Chaeyoung gave you two presents too, stop complaining"

Lisa thought for a moment and then said:

"Aha! I'm have one more present then you!"

"Wow Lisa, I'm so jealous" said Jisoo in monotone sarcastically

Lisa was about to said something back when Rosé stopped them.

"Enough! Let's just take some pictures to remember all these" she said.

Lisa and Jisoo agreed to stop the useless bickering, they took a few pictures afterwards and went back to each's room to shower and prepare to sleep.

After Jisoo finished showering, she lied on the bed and received a notification. The notification says that Jennie just posted a picture a few minutes ago. Pressing into the notification, Jisoo saw that Jennie posted a selfie of them holding each other's presents. She smiled and liked the photo. She was about to comment when she saw Jennie's caption:

'Jensoo [heart][heart]. p/s: i recorded something for you inside the tape'

Jisoo's heart stopped and her brain went black. She dread to hear what Jennie has recorded inside but she doesn't thinks that the hotel would have a cassette tape player. She lies on her bed holding the cassette, without realising, she fell asleep holding the cassette as if it's her prized possessions.
