Show me your scars
Not the one on your skin
But the ones on your soul

The ones that were inflicted by you
Not the ones by the world
The ones that made you mystery
That made you an epiphany
Of a broken record
Sending chills to the core

Show me your demons
Because they know mine
They protect you like a second skin
Is that why you're always defensive ?
Like breaking the wall is a crime

A wall adorned by the thorns
Of nightmares of past and hate
Yet you never lose your charm
A beautiful pretence
Of deception you could create
