She wasn't a damsel in distress
She wasn't a ray of sunshine
With light and a new hope

She was a massacre of thoughts
Sinking in the misery of her own wrongdoings
She was far from the moon
Hiding in her cave
Contemplating her own understandings

She listened to no one
Livid and lost
Still not enough
She was confused from the start

Still dreamy and hopeful
She'd strive to go by in peace
Living in tomorrows
Never wanting the  colossal
Day dreams to cease
