Call upon me dear one
I have never left your side
Physically maybe, but in your heart
I have always reside

Never In the coldest of winters
Will I ever let you freeze
Your heart maybe cold
There's no pain that
These soft kisses couldn't ease

Make me your moon
And I'll follow you always
Lighting up the dark alleys
Where the harm lies, and
Protect you from every misery
Even after the sun rise

I make no promises
To stay out to leave
For I will live in you,
Even if I have to leave

But don't hold back from trying
To find the peace you're looking for
Find it in you
Because you can't leave yourself
When the light disappears in the dark

Glow in your fire but don't burn yourself
Because you matter
Even if I lash out, to protect you
From the burden I carry
Of my ruins and scattered self
