When I finally thought that you love me.. you burst my bubble, showing me
That you're an imposter hiding underneath the mask, feeding his greed

Fighting a lost battle again
To find you, I lost myself again
Foolish I was to follow my heart
Each time, your silence stabbed me like a dart

They said I was easy
Heartbreak every night
Aftermath made me weak and queasy

Fighting for you,
I realised how much I had been forcing myself on you

I fear, the day I will lose myself
When the flames of your love
Set fire to my wings
Yet again, I searched for you
To get the comfort
Which I always found in your arms

Once My safe haven
Became my prison
Where you punished me
For the things I never did but took the blame for .
