"What do you mean? What did you do?" I asked screaming at the top of my lungs.
"Would you keep it down please? I don't want everyone to know my business Sharen. Damn."
Karen begin to fiddle and play with the hem on her skirt. I sat there watching her.
"Karen, I'm waiting on you to tell me what happened."
"Damn it Sharen, can you stop being so insensitive?" She screamed.
"And can you stop beating around the bush and just tell me what the hell is going on?"
Karen stood up and walked towards the window. "I killed him Sharen. I killed him and now he's not coming back."
I rushed over to where she was so I can listen closely.
"Who Karen? Who did you kill?" I asked.
"Jess. I killed your brother."
