Random pov
Sam obviously got the notification that Colby was live and everyone in the car saw the video. It brought Sam to tears to see how broken his best friend is and he was oblivious to it.
Back at the house Erin had gotten Colby to take some night quill and get some more sleep. Jake was in his room but kept the door open Incase Erin or Colby needed something and Elton was in the garage. Erin's mind was racing keeping her from falling asleep and she couldn't take it anymore. She sat up and proceeded to stand up.
Jake pov
I was lying down in my bed when I heard a loud thud, followed by a few more. I made my way out of my room and when I saw Erin, on her feet leaning into the wall breathing pretty hard I ran to her
J- what the hell are you doing? You can't be putting weight on your leg
I stopped her and slowly brought her down to the floor to let her sit
E- I just.. need a minute
She said out of breath
J- what are you doing up anyway?
E- I need to go.. downstairs and wait.. for kat to get home.. I need.. to explain..
J- calm down, just breathe for a minute
Her leg looked really swollen, she must not be keeping it elevated like the doctor told her too. I also noticed she is wearing her sling again, that can't be good.. her shoulder must be hurting her
After she caught her breath, I picked her up and brought her downstairs, it's nearly 1:40 in the morning, Corey and Devyn should be back with Sam and Kat any minute now.
I was standing in the kitchen after I got Erin a glass of water, she hadn't taken a drink tho, she just looked at it with glossy eyes
J-what's wrong?
E- she's gunna hate me..
J- what? Kat? She's not going to hate you Erin
E- I lied to her.. I've been lying to her Jake
I saw her lip trembling and the tears welling up in her eyes when suddenly, the front door opened..
Erin turned around and used the chair to steady herself as she tried to walk towards the door
J- Erin dont!
She let out a cry of pain and slipped, I managed to get to her just in time tho, I caught her in my arms and stood her up just as Kat rushed around the corner
K- Erin?..
I let her go as Kat pulled her into a tight grip and began sobbing, Corey motioned his head to the door, I looked over and saw Sam and made my way outside with Corey as Devyn joined the girls.
When I walked outside we talked about Colby's live and everything going on.
C- it's late, let's go check on the girls and get some sleep
We walked back in the house and Erin was sitting on one of the kitchen chairs, the girls by her side. He head was down with her hands on her knee
Cor- what happened?
D- her leg hurts
J- okay I think your done for tonight, let's get you upstairs
I hugged Devyn and Kat, then let everyone say good night to Erin, then picked her up and walked upstairs.
Random pov
When Jake got Erin in bed he also gave her one of her shots for the pain and said good night.
Kat and Devyn made their way upstairs following Corey and Sam to bed.
2 days later 11 a.m.
Colby's pov
Brennen, Mike and Xepher are coming over in a bit to check up on us, so I decided I should probably shower.
Sam, Katrina, Corey, Devyn, Aaron and his girl Tory, Elton and his girlfriend Amanda are all out of the house doing different things at my request, I hate seeing them sit around all depressed for us, so I told them to just go out and do something, anything for at least today.
Erin is downstairs in the living room watching tv I think and by the time I was done with my shower it was almost 11:35. I went to my room and put in a take chances hoodie and joggers with some socks, dried my hair a bit then headed downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water from the fridge then moved to the living room.
E- how was your shower?
C- good, I smell human again
I said laughing a bit
I walked over and sat on the footrest facing her head on. Gently I put my hand on her shin
C- how is your leg
E- it still hurts but nothing more then usual
She had the brace and all the bandages off so she could ice. I figured she was done so I took all the ice packs and put them back in the freezer. When I walked back to the living room Erin had just stood up. As the space between us grew less and less I put my arms around her waist and pulled her into me. She wrapped her arms around my neck as one of my hands went to her back, the other her neck.
I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, only using one hand did I let go of Erin and pulled it out at answer.
C- hello?
B- hey I'm out front and mike and Xepher just pulled up
C- doors open, we're in the living room
B- okay brother be inside in a sec
I locked my phone and put it back into my pocket letting my hand return to Erin.
The front door opened then soon shut and I could hear footsteps coming into the kitchen
B- hey guys
I let Erin go and turned around to see Brennen Mike and Xepher standing behind me
C- hey
Xefer moves away from the boys and engulfed Erin in a hug. Brennen Mike and I exchanged hugs and when Xepher let go of Erin the guys did exactly as she did.
