It had been a month since Jenny got to know Seokjin and his circle of friends, she even hung out few times with Yeri, Namjoon's mate and had girls' nights with her and Eunji. It felt so nice to have another girl close friends beside Eunji.

Right now Jenny, Eunji and Yeri were sitting in a restaurant, waiting for the guys to arrive and joined them for dinner. Jenny felt her phone vibrated, a text just came in. She opened it and saw it was from her mother, telling her that she would pick up her from the mall so they could walk home together.

"Namjoon!!" Yeri's voice was so loud, catching a lot attention throughout the restaurant, making Namjoon chuckled in embarrassment. Jenny saw the guys walked into the restaurant. There were Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi and Seokjin. Three of the youngest ones in the group weren't there. Seokjin caught her attention. He looked so handsome with a simple black jacket and white sweater. Oh, shut up, Jenny! She thought to herself, feeling embarrassed. Ever since she declared to herself that she think she liked him, Seokjin looked even more appealing to her.

Yoongi groaned at his friends as they arrived at the table, "Now I feel like seventh wheeling between these couples!" Hoseok, Eunji, Namjoon and Yeri laughed at him. Jenny and Seokjin just smiled, feeling embarrassed since they were not a couple but something was there between them. Jenny looked at him, "But Seokjin and I are not a couple. You're fine." Seokjin looked at her for a bit before muttering "Not yet." Jenny thought she heard him saying something but she just shrugged it away.

They ate dinner while having a lot of conversations. Jenny might just met these people a month ago but she already felt accepted and comfortable around them. It was always her and her mom throughout the years, but now she felt happy with new people around her who she already considered as family.

Seokjin stole glances a few times at Jenny who sat next to him but everytime Jenny stole a glance at him and they caught each other's eyes, they both would look away. He couldn't help but wanting to look at her eyes every time he saw her. A wolf never wanted to be separated from its mate, Seokjin could feel Jin always felt restless every time they parted with Jenny. He also felt kind of empty everytime he was away from Jenny even though they hung out few times after the "date" at his bookstore.

They finally finished with their dinner and prepared to leave the place. Seokjin was standing near Jenny, "Want me to walk you home?" he asked her, hoping she would accept. Jenny frowned a little "I can't, I promised my mom to walk home together with her. Her hospital is near, so she will be here anytime soon." Seokjin could feel his heart dropped a little but he shrugged it away, "It's okay, we can hang out anytime." Jenny somehow felt Seokjin's disappointment but she sent him a smile.

They gathered in front of the mall, waiting for Namjoon's car to arrive. Jenny saw her mother walked towards them, still wearing her nurse uniform. "Eomma!" she called her mother. Minjae looked at her and smiled at her daughter who walked towards her, meeting her half way. "Ready to go home?" her mother asked. Jenny nodded but then dragged her towards her group of friends, "But first, let me introduce you to my friends."

"Everyone, meet my mother. Eomma, meet everyone." Jenny said, introducing them to her mother. "You already know Eunji," Jenny pointed at Eunji, her mother smiled at her daughter's best friend. "And next to her is her boyfriend, Hoseok." Jenny pointed at Hoseok next, "Nice to meet you, Mrs Park." Hoseok said politely and Minjae said he same. "And then, these are Namjoon and his girlfriend, Yeri." Jenny pointed to the couple, they both nodded politely at Minjae. Jenny turned her attention to Yoongi next to Namjoon, "This is Yoongi." Yoongi nodded at Jenny's mother with a small smile, Minjae smiled at him.

"And last, Seokjin. You've seen him before." Jenny pointed at Seokjin. For some reason, Minjae could hear a slight happiness when her daughter said Seokjin's name. Seokjin smiled at her and nodded politely, "Nice to see you again." Minaje smiled at him, "Nice to see you again, Seokjin."

Not long after that, Namjoon's car had arrived. All of them said goodbye to Jenny and her mother. Eunji and Yeri hugged Jenny before getting on the car. The guys nodded their heads politely to Jenny's mother and waved their hands at Jenny, who waved her hand back at them. Lastly, Seokjin turned his body towards Jenny "See you tomorrow?" Jenny smiled at him, her heart was beating so fast. She nodded at him, "Okay. See you tomorrow." She waved her hand at him who smiled so brightly at her, his eyes sparkling. He nodded politely at Minjae before finally got on the car before the car finally drove off.

Minjae was still laying on her bed, feeling anxious. For some reason, she felt something strange about Jenny's new friends. They seemed like good people, but they gave off strange aura around them. Especially Namjoon and Seokjin. Minjae noticed something about Namjoon and Seokjin, they had the same tattoo on their wrists. She didn't knew about Hoseok and Yoongi, but she definitely saw the tattoo on Namjoon and Seokjin. She saw them when Jenny introduced her to them. She felt something familiar about it, a memory seemed to be popped up in her mind.

"What does this tattoo mean? I saw your best friend had it too on his wrist." The girl asked her boyfriend. He smiled at her and rubbed his tattoo softly, "It's a symbol of my pack. We had it when we turned 18 and had our first shift. This tattoo represents our loyalty to the pack and the Alpha." She nodded her head, "So every werewolf from every pack would have one of their own?"

The boyfriend nodded his head, "Yeah. Every pack has their own symbol and it would be shown on their wrists."

Minjae gasped and sat on her bed. Her heart beat increased rapidly. She tried to deny what she just realized. She shook her head. "No. Please. It cannot be true." She stood up from the bed and walked out from her room. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. She was trying to calm herself down.

"Mom? What are you doing in the middle of the night?" her daughter's voice startled her, almost dropped her glass but she managed to hold it. She turned around and saw her daughter stood near the kitchen door with glasses on. She smiled at Jenny, "Nothing, just had a little nightmare."

Jenny looked at her mother, worried "Are you okay? Do you need me to sleep in your room with you?" Her mother shook her head, "No, it's okay. Why are you still up? Don't you have class tomorrow?" Jenny smiled at her mother, "I do in the afternoon. I am studying a little for my quiz tomorrow, but then I heard your foot step, so I walked out of my room to see what you are doing." Minjae smiled at her daughter, "Go back to your room, then. I'm okay and I will go back to my room in a bit." Jenny nodded, "Okay then. Goodnight, mom."

Before Jenny left the kitchen, Minjae called her again. "Yes, mom?" Minjae didn't want to say this to her, but she felt anxious about her suspicion on Jenny's new friends. She sighed deeply, "Can I ask you something?" Jenny nodded at her mother, Minjae continued "Please be careful with your new friends, okay?"

"Why?"

"I just.. they seem suspicious for some reason."

Jenny looked at her mother, her eyebrows tight together "Why, though? They are nice people, mom. You don't have to worry." Her mother sighed, "I know, sweetheart but I cannot help to think something is strange." Jenny felt somewhat disappointed, her own mother didn't trust her daughter's judgment. "Just trust me, mom." She said to her mother before walked back to her room.

Minjae still couldn't help but think about what she just discovered from her memory from the past. She didn't want to believe it but what she saw on Namjoon and Seokjin's wrist proved her wrong. She didn't mean to disappoint her own daughter by doubting her choice of friends but she just wanted her daughter to be safe. She didn't want the past to repeat itself and hurt her daughter.
