I laughed at a joke Chris had just told me.
"Nah but for real, let me come in," he said.
"Boy no, Lord knows what can happen behind this door."
"Shit I want to know too."
"I'll see you bright and early tomorrow morning," I said.
"Alright, sleep good," he said before kissing my forehead.
"You too," I said before he smiled at me and walked away.
I unlocked the door only to see Michael sitting on the couch.
"Oh hey... what you doin' in h-"
"Don't."
"Don't what?"
"You said there was nothing goin' on between y'all! What happened to bein' honest?!" He yelled as he stood up.
"What are you-"
"Don't even try to play dumb with me Nuri! I see the way you look at him!"
"That's it? That's all it takes to make you jealous is to look at someone?!"
"You weren't just looking at him you gave him the look," he said.
"You're acting crazy-"
"Don't call me crazy!" He yelled making me flinch.
He came up to me and choked me up against the wall. He lifted me off the ground before slamming me to the ground. The hearing had practically left from my ears. He kicked me in the head knocking me out cold.
