Sampson cooed from the comfort of his parents bed, his green eyes staring intently at the ceiling as Gianna and Cody scrambled around their bedroom packing Cody's bags as he left for spring training. The man finally sighed, looking at his month old son before he looked at his wife, "You're small enough that you can fit into a suite case." He joked, a small smile on his lips as his wife threw the sock at his face, "Sampson still small enough that he probably fits in the palm of my hand, come with me." He finished off making Gianna sigh sadly as she went to pick up their son from their bed. Cody watched, as his arms instantly stretched out to reach for his son. His wife handing him over, careful with his head as Sampson small cheek laid on the warmth of his fathers chest.

"He's still so young to be traveling." She sighed watching as Cody gently swayed back and forth with his son in his hands, "As soon as he turns two months, we will be there, I promise."

Cody has always been a man of a few words. Things were no different now. He felt a pit in his stomach, knowing that he would be away from his now wife and his son. He was afraid to miss out in any milestone, that Sampson would soon forget him; it terrified him. He knew Gianna wouldn't fail to always keep him to date, in a heartbeat always there.
