Pokemon: New World

Chapter 27- The odd day

The day was like any other for Ash and

Dawn at the league. They as always trained feverishly in the training

grounds. Giritina and Luacrio both defeated the wave of wild pokemon

with their skill and coordination. After the battle Ash and Dawn sat

together and had lunch with their pokemon. Dawn slowly numbed on hers

while Ash choked his food down. Dawn giggled at Ash's poor manners,

Ash saw Dawn laugh and became embarrassed. He slowed down his chewing

and apologized. Dawn finished and rubbed her napkin against her chin.

Ash finished his, doing the same. Dawn thought about how things have

been since they left Sinnoh.

“Ash do you remember when we

first met?”

“I accidentally destroyed your

bike, Sorry about that,”

“No it's fine I still have the

money to buy another one.”

“Why didn't you buy one Dawn?”

“I...” Dawn blushed.

“That's fine you don't have to

tell me,”

“Oh thank you Ash”

But in reality Dawn did have to tell

Ash. She wanted to tell her how she felt about him, she couldn't hold

it in forever and she had to tell him at some point before it was too

late. Ash gathered everything and headed back to the league, Dawn

followed after him. The two followed one another through the path

leading back to the league.

“The land here is different from

the rest of the region. There is a lot more grass and less snow

littered on the ground,”

“Yes and it's a lot warmer,”

“Yes but it's also in the

mountains, that type of weather probably changes when there is a

incoming storm,”

“Yeah, um Ash” Dawn tried

to change the subject,”

“Do you still remember the time

we were kids traveling together in Sinnoh?”

“Yeah those were good old times.

But things changed ,we changed,”
