EvoL was created by Cho PD (he also created ToppDogg). Their debut song was written by rappers J-Da and Jucy. EvoL members were recruited based on those who were fascinated with the production concept of creating a K-pop girl group that was one step further than the usual. Leader Say and Jucy have participated in the lyrics, music and song formation since the beginning of their trainee period.
In August 2015 it was revealed that Yull, Hayan and J-Da's contracts had been terminated during Stardom's merge with Hunus Entertainment. This lead to the disbandment of the group. It is rumoured Say will redebut as a solo artist but there is little information about what has happened to Jucy.
