Their debut was considered one of the best K-Pop debuts of 2014. Upon the release of their "Piano Man" on November 18, Mamamoo ranked tenth highest among other idol girl groups for digital sales and 19th among them in album sales. "Piano Man" also ranked 11th among idol girl groups in overall sales of music for 2014, according to Gaon Music Charts. In 2015, they released "Um Oh Ah Yeh" on June 19 which peaked at number three on the Gaon Chart, becoming their first top three single. With their rising popularity, they decided to hold their first fan meeting "1st MOO Party" which sold out within one minute after going on sale. In June 2017, they released the track "Yes I Am" which set the record for the highest first 24 hours unique listeners on Melon for a girl group.
