Chapter Fifty~

"Julia... Julia, wake up." I felt a soft touch on my shoulder.

I lifted my head from my pillow to meet my mother's eyes staring down at me.

"Honey, I'm leaving. My flight leaves in an hour and I need to get to the airport."

I uncovered myself and was greeted by a gush of cold air. I always hated that about waking up. I dislike the cold and my mornings always consisted of me being cold. I'm not really sure why.

I followed my mother down the stairs and stopped in front of the door.

"Well, it was nice to see you for a while." She smiled.

"Yeah, I just wish I was able to see you the whole time you were here." I laughed.

She embraced me in a hug. "Gosh, I love you, Julia. I'll miss you so much."

"I love you too."

"Now," she pulled away from the hug. "Remember what we talked about last night."

"I know, I know..."

"Okay, Julia. Your mother always knows best." The door was opened as she gave me a little wink. "And don't forget to call me."

"Mom, I always call you." I laughed.

I watched as my mom got into her car and waved to me before driving away.

Heading back inside, I decided that it would be a good idea to eat some breakfast because my stomach growls were uncontrollable. I searched through my cabinets.

'Nah.'

'No.'

'Not in the mood for that.'

'Ew.'

'I'm way too lazy to make that.'

I came across something that was quick to make and very simple.

The universal bowl of cereal.

Wow, I am such a great cook.

I scooped the soggy cereal into my mouth as I scrolled through my twitter feed. I retweeted some funny tweets and read some of my friends tweets until I came across one particular one.

'@NiallOfficial: the show last night was amazing ! You guys are insane ! Now I'm off to get some breakfast with the lads'

Really? Everywhere I turn, there's a reminder of Niall somewhere. I just need to forget about him. It's not like he cares about me anyway.

I called Kate and we made plans to go get lunch because I just really need to get out of my flat.

"Julia!" Kate got out of her car to embrace me in a hug. "How are you feeling? I heard about what happened to you. You poor thing! I feel like I haven't seen you in forever, I missed you!"

"I'm feeling a lot better than I did a week ago." I laughed. "But there is one slight problem."

"What?!"

"I'm starving!" I grinned.

"Of course you are." Kate rolled her eyes and followed me into the restaurant.

Afterwards, Kate came back to my flat to watch movies with me.

"Jules, where's Niall? Dontcha normally watch movies with him?" Kate teased.
