~Chapter Thirty-Five~

"I really want to show you what a real relationship is like. Julia, will you please give me a second chance and be my girlfriend?"

I swear at that moment my heart stopped. This was it. I couldn't break the promise I made to Kate and most of all, I couldn't break Niall's heart.

I stared into his eyes. The were begging for me to answer but I felt frozen.

Well, these are the last few seconds of being a single woman...

"Yes!" I said excitedly and before I could even move an inch, two strong arms were wrapped tightly around my waist as I felt myself being spun around. My arms made their way around Niall's neck. Our lips met and the kiss was filled with emotion.

"You just made me the happiest guy on earth." There was a huge smile plastered across his lips. As the words escaped from his mouth, I could feel a smile tugging at the edge of my lips also.

"Well you just made me the luckiest girl on earth."

Now I was no longer single, obviously, so this was a huge step for me. I seriously was beginning to doubt myself before I met Niall. I thought I'd never and I mean NEVER be in another relationship again. Niall had managed to break through the walls that had been out up due to Josh, which I was almost positive weren't going to be able to be knocked down. Niall managed to get me to trust him because... hell after what Josh did, I didn't trust anyone. It's really difficult to put yourself into someone's shoes and really understand how they feel after being abused by the person you loved and trusted the most. And when that love becomes hate, it's difficult to think there is even a thing called "love". But, evidently, Niall managed to reverse all my worries and fears and prove that a second chance was possible. That's how he made me fall head over heels for him.

I was put down on my feet and Niall still had the giant smile across his mouth.

"I can't believe I can finally call you mine." He breathed.

"You deserve it." I laughed. After all he's been through and done, deserving me is an understatement. I feel like I owe so much to him. I feel like... I don't even deserve him. How did I mange to get so lucky?

We laid back down where we spent the rest of the night in each others arms, under the stars. I'm honestly living my dreams all thanks to Niall.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Niall had taken me back to his flat early in the morning to cook me some breakfast.

Just as the door unlocked and I walked in, I was practically given a heart attack by the one and only Louis Tomlinson.

"You guys are official!" He yelled and ran over to me, picking me up and spinning me around.

"Oh. My. God." I breathed holding my hand to my heart as he set me back on my feet. "I think I'm dying." I laughed, returning to a normal heart rate.

"Lou, what are you doing here?!" Niall yelled, although you could hear the amusement in his voice.

"I was excited to see the new couple." He stated.

"You're acting like we got married." I laughed.

"Well, I already made arrangements for that." He smirked and I playfully slapped his arm.

"Okay Lou, well it was nice seein' ya, you can leave now." Niall smirked as he held the door open for him to leave.

"Nice to see you too." He sassed.
