Over the past couples of days, Julia seemed to be getting more comfortable around me.

So I decided to make my move and try to ask her out again.

I laid on my couch watching the flickering lights from my television flash before me as I thought of a good way to ask her.

Im not just going to ask her out, it's got to be special.

Because she's special.

Then the perfect "date", I shall say, hit me.

I jumped up as my door was swung open with a bang, leaving my heart racing.

"Hey." Liam smiled.

"Can't you knock?!" I laughed as I settled down.

"Barging in is more fun."

I glared at him. "Why are you here?"

"I wanted to see if you wanna do something later."

"I can't, I'm busy. Sorry." I apologized with my eyes glued to the television.

"Why? What are you doing?"

"I have plans."

"Lemme guess, Julia, right?"

I nodded and he wiggled his eyebrows.

"Just ask her out already. I know you really like her."

"Oh is it that obvious?!" I laughed sarcastically. "And that's what I'm trying to do."

"Wow, she's a stubborn one." He grinned.

"I wouldn't say stubborn...." I smiled. "More like special."

"That's cute." He walked over and pinched my cheeks.

"Stop that." I smacked his hands away.

"Well have fun without me."

"I will. I gotta get my girl." A grinned appeared on my face.

"Good luck with that." He returned a smile. "Call me later or something. Hopefully she says yes so I can finally get to see my Nialler."

"You got it." I laughed and turned back to continue watching the show playing in front of me. Liam had left and I was now alone.
