"I can not believe we're about to have dinner with the fucking Houstons," Lexi said for the fifth time since we got into her car.

"Chill out Alexis," I chuckled.

"I really wish I could, thanks for inviting me," she said.

I smiled as we pulled into their driveway. The night lights gave his house a more perfect view.

The door swung open after we pressed the bell once.

"Well what do we have here," the guy whom I assumed was Jordan said. He licked his lower lip and smiled seductively. I heard Lexi whisper oh my God ...well I don't blame her, the boy was handsome.

"Jordan can you let the ladies in and stop flirting," I heard Jenna say from inside.

He winked at me before making way for us to pass.

"Hi girls," Jenna welcomed us with a warm hug, "You must be Lexi, nice to meet you, I'm Jenna,"

"Nice to meet you too," Lexi smiled.

"You guys are just right in time, we just had the table set," Jenna grinned.

"Thanks for having us Jenna," Lexi said.

"So what is this? a freaking party? Jenna I thought we were having just one guest," Xavier walked in. I took a minute to admire his dressing, black fitted jeans and a grey hoodie. He looked simple and gorgeous.

"Xavier, be nice," Jenna warned.

He rolled his eyes and muttered something before walking away.

Dinner with them went on just fine, surprisingly fine, everyone talked casually except Xavier, he never said a word to me. Though he kept stealing glances at me and everytime I looked at him, he looked away. Lexi and the other guys were getting along just fine, they laughed and talked like they had already met before. I wonder how she does that. Everyone seemed to be comfortably having a great time. Maybe being friends with them wouldn't be so bad after all.

"Umm excuse me, I need to use the restroom," I said to Jenna.

"Upstairs, third room by the right," she directed.

I nodded and made my way up through the stairs that seemed endless. His house was really pretty and large, very large you probably need pebbles to avoid losing your way. I admired the cream colored walls and beautiful chandeliers and every other thing that made the house appealing.

Where was I going again?

Right, the restroom.

The direction?...Ah shoot!

Second door by the left, right?...definitely... I think?

I twisted the knob and swung the door wide open. The room was large, really large, a king size bed was at the centre of the room....everything in the room was rich and lavish, I gaped in awe as I had never seen a room so luxurious. There were three large paintings on the tapestry walls. One of them had just his name on it, Xavier.....

wait, why was I in a room?

why was I in his room?

I couldn't help but walk closer to take a better look at the beautiful portraits, I never knew he liked paintings...

"What the fuck are you doing here!" a voice barked.

I gasped and jerked away.

"I.. I'm sorry.. I.. I was looking for the restroom and I..." I stuttered.

"Does this look like a restroom," he fumed and walked closer to me, clenching his fists.

I gaped at him, I couldn't care less if he was mad at me, all I could think about at that moment was how beautiful his eyes looked, they seemed to glow in the darkness as they bored into mine. His chiseled jaw and smooth cheekbones were absolutely intriguing. He stared at me too, I couldn't tell if he was still angry but he was really looking at me, his gaze went from my eyes down to my lips... Oh my God.
